This page answers a simple question: where can you find a bakery or a bagel shop around Armadale, using only what the places and listing sites publish? It covers five places, three in Armadale, one in Toorak and one in Caulfield North, so treat it as an in and around list.
Every place was checked against two sources: its own site plus the Australian Good Food Guide or OpenStreetMap. Where a tag comes from AGFG we say AGFG lists it, because those tags are the listing’s, not ours.
We copied no menu prices, so none are printed. Hours are quoted with whose listing they come from.

Phillippa’s own site lists its Armadale store at 1030 High Street. The site gives store hours of Mon-Sun: 7:00am - 5:00pm, with a 3pm close on public holidays. AGFG lists Takeaway and Alfresco Dining for the address. The site carries no recent date that we could find, so treat the hours as a guide.
Go for: a daily stop on High Street, since its site lists the same hours across the whole week.
Ned’s Bake — 963 High St, Armadale VIC 3143
Ned’s Bake lists an Armadale branch at 953-967 High Street on its own site, and AGFG gives the address as 963 High St. The site prints Hours: Mon - Sun: 7am - 3pm. AGFG lists Child Friendly, Takeaway and Breakfast. We could not find a date on the site, so check before you go.
The order: AGFG lists Breakfast, so start there, but we have no readable menu to point you to a dish.
Hank’s Bagelry — 13 Beatty Ave, Armadale VIC 3143
Hank’s Bagelry sits on Beatty Avenue, and its own site lists the Armadale branch there. The name tells you bagels are the point, though we have no menu to quote. The site lists Monday - Friday, 6:30am - 4pm, and Saturday & Sunday, 8am - 3pm. AGFG lists Child Friendly, Takeaway and Alfresco Dining.
Laptop policy: we could not find one published by Hank’s or AGFG, so ask before you unpack.
Mabels — 525 Malvern Road, Toorak VIC 3142
Mabels is at 525 Malvern Road in Toorak, a short step outside Armadale. Its own site lists Mon-Tues 7.30-2.00, Wed-Fri 7.30 - 3.00, Saturday 8.00 - 3.00 and Sunday 8.00 - 2.00. AGFG lists Child Friendly, Takeaway and Breakfast. The site shows a 2026 copyright, so the hours look current.

Little Sister is at 93 Orrong Crescent in Caulfield North, and its own site confirms that address. The web address itself says bakery. We have no hours we can stand behind: OpenStreetMap carries an opening-hours tag, but it is a volunteer-edited map entry that may be out of date, so check the bakery directly before travelling.
