Three of the five bars on this page sit on the Concourse, Beaumaris’s shopping village, within a short walk of each other: a French-styled speakeasy on North Concourse, a pub on the same street, and a small wine bar on East Concourse. The other two are over the boundary in Cheltenham, and both publish full drinks lists. A drinks list tells you most of what you need, so this guide reads the published ones, prints prices only where the venue prints them, and says plainly where a venue publishes nothing we could check. Le Bar Supper Club — 12 North Concourse, Beaumaris VIC 3193
The Concourse’s cocktail bar opens its website with “Luxurious hidden cocktail bar, French inspired restaurant and private function venue” and lists opening hours of Wednesday to Sunday from 4pm. The October calendar runs burlesque on Friday and Saturday nights with music sets on most Sundays. The drinks list leans French: a Canon de 75 (Tanqueray No.10, lemon and Champagne) is $25, the Negroni is $25, and the Van Gogh, absinthe prepared at the table with fire and a sugar cube, is $42 for two. Most cocktails sit between $24 (the Paloma) and $33 (the Ceremony of Caviar). The cheaper way in is the Golden Hour, Wednesday to Sunday from 4pm to 6pm, when mini cocktails, among them a gin or vodka martini, a Negroni and a Manhattan, are $12, as are the tapas plates. The separate Happy Hour menu lists cocktails at $18 and Victorian wines at $10, Wednesday, Thursday and Sunday 6–8pm and Friday and Saturday 6–7pm.

Nay Nays Wine Bar — 46 East Concourse, Beaumaris VIC 3193
More people land on this page looking for Nay Nays (also written NayNays) than for any other Beaumaris bar, so here is what can be checked. Victoria’s liquor licence register (31 August 2026) lists NayNays Wine Bar at 46 East Concourse, and the bar has sold tickets to what it calls “our monthly ‘Meet the Maker’ tasting event”: a guided tasting of five wines with a cheese pairing for each, hosted by the winemaker. Scotchmans Hill’s chief winemaker hosted in May 2026 and Fin Wines in July 2026; both sold out. We couldn’t find a drinks list or food menu online on 1 October 2026, so there are no prices here.
The classic: Fin Wines makes piquette as well as wine, a light, low-alcohol drink made by re-fermenting grape skins left over from winemaking with water. By the glass: not published. Door and dress: none stated. Order: a ticket to the next Meet the Maker night, if one is listed.
Beaumaris Concourse Hotel — 27 North Concourse, Beaumaris VIC 3193
“A pub without pretence for the Bayside locale” is how the BCH describes itself, and its week is built on specials. Its menu lists a weekday happy hour from 3pm to 6pm, and its What’s On page prices selected wines and spirits at $9 in that window. Monday is free pool and pub trivia at 7pm (bookings necessary), Tuesday is a 330g chicken parma with chips and salad for $20, and on Thursday and Friday from noon to 3pm a selected main comes with a pint of Stomping Ground beer, a glass of house wine, a house spirit or a soft drink for $30. Live music is listed for 8pm Fridays and an acoustic set at 4pm on Sundays. The pub opens from 3pm Monday to Wednesday and from noon Thursday to Sunday, until midnight on Fridays and Saturdays.
The classic: in Victoria a pot is 285ml and a pint 570ml. The pub’s printed menu and its website price happy-hour beer differently, so ask at the bar. Door and dress: none stated. Order: a $9 happy-hour wine and a Tuesday parma.
Somm Wine Bar — 243 Charman Rd, Cheltenham VIC 3192
Up Charman Road in Cheltenham, Somm says it runs “primarily as a walk-in venue”. Its August 2026 list pours eight still wines in 150ml and 250ml glasses as well as by the bottle, plus sparkling; the Moscone Nebbiolo d’Alba is $16 for 150ml. Spritzes are $18, among them an Aperol spritz and a Hugo, and a Winter Negroni with spiced syrup is $20. Happy hour is Thursday to Sunday, 4pm to 6pm: wine by the glass and seasonal tap pints $10, all spritzes $14. Wood-fired pizzas share the page if the night needs a feed. The hours on its site, headed winter trading hours, are Thursday to Sunday from 4pm.
By the glass: eight still wines plus sparkling, as listed. The classic: an Aperol spritz is Aperol, prosecco and soda over ice with orange, which is how Somm’s list writes it. Door and dress: walk-in; bookings are for groups of six to 15. Order: a happy-hour glass of wine, $10.
The Garden of Good & Evil — 13 Station Road, Cheltenham VIC 3192
An “intimate tapas & wine bar” by its own description, open since April 2014 on Station Road, with a garden out the back that the bar says is “comfortable even during the winter months”. The June 2026 drinks list sorts its cocktails into spiced, fruity and “rich & bold”, and says classics are available on request. The Apple Pie Old Fashioned (bourbon, apple cinnamon syrup, bitters) is $22 and the Dark Chocolate Negroni is $23. Happy hour is Monday to Friday, 3pm to 6pm: tap beer $8, selected wines $10. The list adds a 10% surcharge on weekends and public holidays. Hours are 3pm until late Monday to Thursday and from noon Friday to Sunday.
The classic: an old fashioned is spirit, sugar and bitters stirred over ice; this one swaps the sugar for apple and cinnamon syrup. Door and dress: none stated. Order: the Apple Pie Old Fashioned, $22.
