This is a short page on purpose. We could verify three places in and around Bentleigh East: two pubs and a bowls club bar. Two are in Bentleigh East, Boundary Hotel and Coatesville Bowling Club, and one, Sandbelt Club Hotel, is in Moorabbin.
Only Boundary Hotel’s own pages mention a beer garden or courtyard. Sandbelt lists beer on tap and Coatesville has a clubhouse bar, so read this as pubs and bars for a drink, not a long list of beer gardens. Each place was checked against two independent sources.

Boundary Hotel — 730 Centre Road, Bentleigh East VIC 3165
Boundary Hotel’s site describes a beer garden and big screen, and invites you to head to the courtyard and explore its 8 taps. That makes it the only place here where we could verify a beer garden or courtyard. Its site lists general opening hours of 10:00am to 04:00am, Monday to Sunday, while the Signor Fox kitchen closes at 9:00pm. Boundary Hotel’s menu PDF prints ROAST GARLIC & HERB PIZZA BREAD at $12.

Garden: The site mentions both a beer garden and an attached courtyard, but we could not find a published word on heating or dogs, so check before you bring either.
Coatesville Bowling Club — 62 Mackie Road, Bentleigh East VIC 3165
Coatesville Bowling Club’s site says it has a clubhouse with a bar, and calls it “the cheapest prices in East Bentleigh!”, which is the club’s own claim and not something we checked. The site also lists a hall with kitchen facilities and BBQ facilities. Coatesville Bowling Club lists barefoot bowls at $10 per person and $30 for gas if the BBQ is used, and Meat Raffle tickets starting as low as $5.00 for 50 numbers. We could not find published opening hours, so ring ahead.

Sandbelt Club Hotel — Cnr South & Bignell Roads, Moorabbin VIC 3189
Sandbelt Club Hotel is in Moorabbin, not Bentleigh East. Its site says “We wouldn’t be your local without a huge range of beer on tap either”, and we could not find a beer garden mentioned on its pages. Its site lists general opening hours of 10:00am to 04:00am, Monday to Sunday. The venue’s deal sheet lists Thursday: Parma Night, and its main menu prints Traditional Chicken Parmigiana at $30.
