A pizza menu always asserts something, however brief it is: the description carries the style, the name carries the toppings, and the price is tucked into the corner. This page covers four places, three in Bentleigh East and one just over the border in Moorabbin, and says what each one’s own pages and listings state about pizza.
We checked each place against two independent sources on 4 October 2026. Where a menu was readable we copied its prices; where it was not, we say so and print no price. We have not described any crust, sauce or oven, because we have not seen one stated.

Queen Margherita Pizza Bentleigh East — 245 East Boundary Road, Bentleigh East VIC 3165
Queen Margherita’s own ordering page lists its cuisine as Italian and pizza, and its menu prints a Pinsa Margherita at $24. A pinsa (a Roman-style oval flatbread, usually with a lighter, airier base than a round pizza) is a different thing from a standard round pie, so it is worth reading that line of the menu closely. The same page prints a Regular Vegan Margherita at $21 and a Regular Vegan Pomodoro & Fungo at $20. The menu also lists the American (tomato, cheese, Calabrese hot salami and shaved ham) at Large $28 and Regular $24.

The style: The menu offers a pinsa alongside regular pizzas and vegan versions, and its ordering page lists store hours of 4:00pm - 9:30pm for every day of the week.
Pizza Hut Bentleigh East — 697 Centre Road, Bentleigh East VIC 3165
This is a chain outlet on Centre Road, and OpenStreetMap tags it as Pizza Hut with the cuisine set to pizza. DoorDash lists it under the label Pizzeria and carries a Bentleigh East menu page for it. We could not read a price list for this outlet, so we print no price and make no claim about its dough or toppings.
Menu tells: The DoorDash page is the only menu source we found, so check that listing or the chain’s own site for what is on offer and what it costs.
Boundary Hotel — 730 Centre Road, Bentleigh East VIC 3165
The Boundary Hotel’s site says “Now it’s woodfired pizza with bubbling cheese”, and the Signor Fox menu is the one to read. That menu prints a MARGHERITA, SUGO, FIOR DI LATTE, BASIL at $23 (fior di latte is fresh cows’-milk mozzarella, the usual topping on a classic margherita). It also prints ROAST GARLIC & HERB PIZZA BREAD at $12, which is a shared starter rather than a full pizza. Pub pizza in Melbourne has its own tradition, sitting between the parma and the pasta on a bistro menu, and this is a modern example of it.

Southside Pizza and Pasta — 474 South Road, Moorabbin VIC 3189
Southside is on South Road in Moorabbin, not Bentleigh East, so it sits just outside the suburb. DoorDash’s listing describes it as serving Italian cuisine made with locally sourced ingredients, and its own site shows Order Online and Print Menu links. The online menu loads by script and we could not read it, so we print no prices and make no claim about its styles.
