Because a printed menu marker is the venue’s own promise, this guide repeats markers and claims word for word as they were printed or published, and adds nothing to them. It answers one question: where in Bentleigh East can you find vegan items, and how much does each venue say it charges?
There are six places, five in Bentleigh East and one, Sandbelt Club Hotel, over the border in Moorabbin. Raw Galore says its whole range is vegan. The other five list vegan options or vegan items among other food.
We checked each place against at least two sources, including its own site, the Australian Good Food Guide and a venue directory, and copied prices as printed. None of this page is a statement about allergens. Every entry ends with one thing to ask the venue.

Raw Galore — 6 Matthews Road, Bentleigh East VIC 3165
Raw Galore’s site says to visit the store for açai bowls, smoothies, savoury food and raw desserts, and adds “All Vegan of course!” It also says every one of its handmade products is “proudly vegan, gluten-free, dairy-free, refined sugar-free and 100% YUM.” The site lists opening as 9am-3pm, Monday to Sunday. The menu on its site is an image and we could not find item prices, so none are printed here.
Fully plant-based or options: the site says everything is vegan, so ask in store which savoury items are on offer, because the online menu is an image we could not price.
Hello Sam — 691 Centre Road, Bentleigh East VIC 3165
Hello Sam’s site lists “WEDNESDAY DAIRY & VEGAN OPTIONS $5 MILKSHAKES”, so the $5 price for dairy and vegan option milkshakes is a Wednesday special. The Urban List says “the same plant-based menu from South Yarra is offered”. We could not find the plant-based items named on the menu we copied, so treat the milkshake as the one vegan line we can point to. The site lists trading hours of 5PM - 9PM.

Vandana’s Indian Restaurant — Shop 2, 676 Centre Road, Bentleigh East VIC 3165
AGFG tags Vandana’s Indian Restaurant with “Vegan Options”. The restaurant’s own menu lists Onion Bhaji at $10.00, but we could not confirm from the lines we copied which dishes are the vegan ones, so the tag is a starting point rather than a list. Its site says it is open six nights, 5pm - 10pm, closed on Tuesday, and lists the place as BYO.
Ask: which dishes the kitchen treats as the vegan options, and what they are cooked in, before you book.
Queen Margherita Pizza Bentleigh East — 245 East Boundary Road, Bentleigh East VIC 3165
Queen Margherita’s menu names its vegan pizzas. It lists Regular Vegan Margherita at $21, and Regular Vegan Pomodoro & Fungo at $20. The vegan pizza line prints an availability window that reads oddly, with the same start and end time, so we cannot say when it applies. Its ordering page lists store hours of 4:00pm - 9:30pm every day.

Kitchen statement: we could not find a published statement about shared ovens or cheese, so ask when the vegan pizza is available and how it is prepared.
The Cheesecake Shop East Bentleigh — 253 East Boundary Road, Bentleigh East VIC 3165
The Cheesecake Shop’s online cake page lists “Vegan Salted Caramel Slice $5.95 Each”, which names the vegan item in the product title. Those prices are the brand’s online prices, where each product says to select a store and order, so confirm at the East Bentleigh shop. The store page lists 9:00 to 20:00 Monday to Saturday and 10:00 to 19:00 Sunday.

Menu markers: the vegan label sits in the slice’s name, and the gluten free chocolate cake is a separate listing, so read each product title rather than assuming.
Sandbelt Club Hotel — Cnr South & Bignell Roads, Moorabbin VIC 3189
The Sandbelt Club Hotel sits in Moorabbin rather than in Bentleigh East. Its main menu PDF lists Vegan Burger (CN) at $23. It also prints Sourdough Garlic Bread (V) at $10.50 and Sticky Date Pudding (V, CN) at $14.50, but we could not find a key saying what (V) and (CN) mean, so only the burger carries the word vegan in its name. Its site says the Bistro serves lunch and dinner every day.
