Correction (4 October 2026): an earlier version of this page listed places and details we could not stand behind. It has been rewritten from scratch: every place below was confirmed at two independent sources on 3 October 2026, and every price was copied from the page it was published on.

This page looks at Italian food near Brooklyn through the pasta and sit-down dishes rather than the pizza. Only two Italian restaurants passed our two-source check, so it is a short page: Pizza Del Sole in Yarraville and Motorino Pizzeria in South Kingsville. Both also make pizza, and if that is what you want, the pizza page covers the same two places.

We checked each against OpenStreetMap and its own website, and copied prices from the ordering pages. Where a menu does not publish a price, we say so.

Pizza Del Sole — 343 Somerville Road, Yarraville VIC 3013

Pizza Del Sole is in Yarraville, and its site says it has been serving diners since 1977. The pasta side is described only in general terms: the site says it has “a number of healthy salads and enticing pastas”, and we did not record pasta prices. What the ordering page does print is a Focaccia with Fresh Tomato (basil, mozzarella cheese and garlic) from $14.99, which is the nearest thing to a sit-down Italian starter on the menu we could read.

On the menu (copied from order.pizzadelsole.com.au on 3 October 2026):

  • Garlic Pizza: From $13.99
  • Margherita Pizza: From $13.99
  • Focaccia with Fresh Tomato: From $14.99
  • Hot & Spicy: From $15.99

Menu tells: the site promises pastas, but the printed prices we could confirm are for pizza and focaccia, such as Focaccia with Fresh Tomato from $14.99.

Motorino Pizzeria — 29A Vernon Street, South Kingsville VIC 3015

Motorino Pizzeria is in South Kingsville, and its site calls it an Italian restaurant in Vernon Street, established in 2010. This is the page’s pasta menu: the ordering page prints Bolognese at $24 (a slow-cooked meat sauce, usually served with pasta), Carbonara at $26.50 (a Roman dish traditionally built on egg, hard cheese and cured pork) and Lasagna at $28. It also prints Bruschetta Flatbread at $15.50 and Gelato 3 Scoops at $14.50, so a starter-to-dessert meal is possible from the published list.

On the menu (copied from orderonline.motorinopizzeria.com.au on 3 October 2026):

  • Garlic Bread: $10
  • Bruschetta Flatbread: $15.50
  • Bolognese: $24
  • Carbonara: $26.50

The classic: Carbonara is printed at $26.50 and Bolognese at $24, the two pasta dishes most menus use to show their hand.
