This guide reports vegan markers exactly as each venue prints them and goes no further. Six places are listed: four in Altona North, one in Kingsville and one in South Kingsville, all in and around Brooklyn.
They are cafes, an acai and juice bar, a Thai restaurant, a pizzeria and a pub. None is described as fully vegan. Each has a vegan item, a vegan marker or a vegan statement on its own pages.
We could not find a published kitchen statement for any of them, so each entry ends with one question to ask.

The Jolly Miller (Altona North) — Shops 3A - 3C Millers Junction Retail, 302-330 Millers Road, Altona North VIC 3025
The brunch menu prints a VEGAN heading, with CARAMELISED BANANA PORRIDGE (VE) under it. Several other dishes carry a (V), including SHAKSHUKA (V), CRUSHED AVOCADO (V) and EGGS ANY STYLE (V). The (V) marker is not the (VE) used under the VEGAN heading, so do not treat a (V) dish as vegan. The PDF footer prints a weekend surcharge and a public holiday surcharge, which apply on top of the menu prices.
Menu markers: (VE) sits on the porridge under the VEGAN heading; (V) is a different marker on other dishes, so do not read it as vegan.
Wolf Cafe & Eatery (Altona North) — 21 Lobelia Drive, Altona North VIC 3025
The all-day menu is an image-only PDF, read visually. Its footer legend prints 100% HALAL, (GF) Gluten Free, (NF) Nut Free, (VG) Vegetarian and (V) Vegan. By that legend, GREEN BOWL (V,GF,N) is the only dish carrying the vegan marker, yet its printed ingredients include halloumi cheese and a poached egg, so ask before you rely on the marker. KNEFEH FRENCH TOAST, BISCOFF PANCAKES and SMASHED AVO carry (VG), which the same legend defines as vegetarian. Wolf also has other sites; this entry is the Altona North one.
Fully plant-based or options: Options only, and the legend separates (V) from (VG), so ask which dishes are vegan rather than vegetarian.
Jungle Lab (Altona North, Millers Junction) — 302 Millers Road, Altona North VIC 3025
The ordering page describes the brand as keeping it 100% natural, vegan, and packed with antioxidants. That is a general statement, and we have not seen an item-by-item marker or a kitchen statement. The menu lists a Small Acai at $15.50 and Classic OJ at $7.90. Its site lists 11am-11pm across the week, and it sits at Millers Junction.
Ask: Whether toppings and sauces on a given item are all vegan, since the page makes a general statement rather than marking each item.
Bangkok Gang — 208 Somerville Road, Kingsville VIC 3012
The online-ordering page lists Jungle Curry (Vegan) at $24.90, the one item we found marked vegan. The venue’s own menu page is photographs, so prices come from the ordering page, which may be an older copy. Confirm prices are current. Its site says it is open Tue - Sun from 5pm - 9pm, Monday closed.

The safe order: Jungle Curry (Vegan) is the only item marked that way in what we read; ask how the curry paste and stock are made.
Motorino Pizzeria — 29A Vernon Street, South Kingsville VIC 3015
The site says: Vegetarian, Gluten-free and Vegan options available. That is a general statement. We did not find a dish named as vegan in what we read, and the pizza prices are not printed on the ordering page text. The ordering page prints Garlic Bread at $10 with no marker we could read. It lists Bolognese at $24 and Carbonara at $26.50.
Ask: Which pizzas and pastas are the vegan options the site mentions, because no dish is marked in what we read.
Millers Inn — 204 Millers Road, Altona North VIC 3025
The menu PDF prints VEGGIE BURGER (V) (VG) (CN) at $24.00, with a legend line reading VG - Vegan. That is the one vegan marker we found at this pub. GARLIC BREAD (V) and HOT CHIPS (V) are each $10.00 and carry a (V), which is a different marker from the VG the legend defines as vegan. CHICKEN PARMIGIANA is $29.00. Kitchen hours vary, so check before you go.
