Six bakeries and patisseries, all in Camberwell: a French patisserie, two shops with printed croissant prices, a Japanese-inspired bakehouse and two bakeries selling sourdough. Pick a lane, bread or pastry.
Hours come from the source named in each entry, because the listings disagree in places. Prices are copied from each bakery’s own menu page, and three of them carry a caveat about what the page covers.
Every place was checked against two sources on 4 October 2026. Where a bakery publishes no menu text, we say so rather than guess.

Le Croissant — 1204 Toorak Rd, Camberwell VIC 3124
The shop’s own site title reads Le Croissant - Patisserie Francaise, with the Toorak Road address. That is all the site shows, and we could not find a published menu or prices. AGFG lists Wednesday to Saturday 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM and Sunday 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM, with Monday and Tuesday closed.
Go for: A French patisserie by its own title; check the AGFG hours first, as it lists Monday and Tuesday closed.
Laurent Bakery — 610-612 Burke Road, Camberwell VIC 3124
Laurent’s site lists Monday to Sunday 7:00am to 6:00pm at the Burke Road shop. The Camberwell Junction directory says coffee, baked breads, croissants, sandwiches, cakes, macarons and breakfast are available daily. The brand-wide full menu prints Plain Croissant at $5.90 and Pain Au Chocolat at $7.30, and Macaron at $3.10. That menu is not specific to Camberwell.

The order: Plain Croissant at $5.90 is the baseline on the printed menu, with Almond Croissant at $8.00 as the step up.
Penny For Pound — 387 Camberwell Road, Camberwell VIC 3124
The Junction directory says to follow your nose to hot and flakey croissants, baked fresh every half hour. The own-site Camberwell listing runs Monday to Friday 7AM to 3PM and Saturday to Sunday 8AM to 3PM. Its online pastry range prints Croissant at $6.50, Cinnamon Scroll at $8.50 and Portuguese Tart at $5.50. That range is a pre-order shop, so in-store prices may differ.

The directory calls 10³ BakeHouse a Japanese-inspired bakery in Camberwell Junction, and mentions creamy portuguese egg tarts. The own site lists Monday to Friday 8:30 am to 6 pm and weekends 8:30 am to 5 pm; the directory prints different hours, so confirm. Its site menu lists drinks only, with Espresso at $3.00, Short Macchiato at $3.40 and Magic at $4.50. Bread and pastry prices are not published as text.

Go for: The egg tarts the directory mentions, plus a Piccolo at $4.20 from the site’s drinks list.
Krol Family Bakery — 375 Camberwell Road, Camberwell VIC 3124
The site’s own line is: baked fresh daily on the premises. It prints white or rye sourdough at $5.00 and a fruit loaf at $7.00, which it says has 80% fruit content. It also says its prices are the same on the weekend as on weekdays. The directory lists Tuesday to Friday 6:30 am to 5:30 pm, Saturday 6:30 am to 3:30 pm, and Monday and Sunday closed.
On the menu (copied from krolbakery.com.au on 4 October 2026):

The order: White or rye sourdough at $5.00, per the price printed on the bakery’s site.
Woodfrog Bakery — Rear of 572 Burke Rd, Camberwell VIC 3124
The directory says the sourdoughs are fermented for 28 hours and contain no commercial yeast. It lists the shop at the rear of the Burke Road address, with Monday to Saturday 7:00am to 5:00pm and Sunday 7:00am to 4:00pm. The bakery’s own site lists Camberwell among its stores but prints no street address. We could not find published prices.
Go for: The sourdough, going by the directory’s note on fermentation; no price is published that we could read.

Laurent Bakery’s own site lists Monday to Sunday trading, and 10³ Bakehouse’s site lists Monday opening too. Woodfrog Bakery’s directory listing includes Monday, and Penny For Pound lists Monday to Friday. AGFG lists Le Croissant closed on Monday, and the directory lists Krol Family Bakery closed on Monday.
Where can I buy croissants in Camberwell?
Laurent Bakery’s menu prints Plain Croissant at $5.90. Penny For Pound’s online pastry range prints Croissant at $6.50, and the directory describes its croissants as baked fresh every half hour. Le Croissant is a French patisserie by its own site title, but we could not find a menu.
Can I get coffee at a Camberwell bakery?
10³ Bakehouse publishes a drinks menu, with Espresso at $3.00 and Double Espresso at $3.80. The directory says coffee is available daily at Laurent Bakery. We did not find a published coffee menu for the other four.
