Breakfast near Carnegie comes down to sweet or savoury, so this page covers six cafes with listed hours and, for four of them, printed menu prices. One is in Carnegie, two are in Murrumbeena, one is in Malvern East and two are in Glen Huntly.
Each entry names dishes from the menu and, where we could read them, the prices. Levi and St. Zita’s carry no prices on this page.

Major Mitchell Cafe — 122 Grange Road, Carnegie VIC 3163
Major Mitchell Cafe’s own site lists Breakfast - All Day, with weekday hours from 7:30am to 3pm and weekend hours from 8am to 3pm. Its July menu PDF prints Brisket Benedict at $26.50 and Warm Oats Porridge at $22. The same menu prints a 10% weekend surcharge and a 15% public holiday surcharge.

Levi — 6 Railway Parade, Murrumbeena VIC 3163
Levi’s own site lists Monday to Saturday as 7:30am to 3:30pm and Sunday as 8am to 3:00pm, with a Book a table link and a function enquiry. OpenStreetMap tags it as a coffee shop with brunch. We could not find a published menu or prices on its site, so the dishes are yours to check when you book.
Go for: A booked brunch, since the site offers Book a table and function enquiries.
MoMa Social Cafe — 255 Waverley Road, Malvern East VIC 3145
MoMa Social Cafe, in Malvern East, says on its site that breakfast is served all day, dine in or take away. It also says it proudly serves halal food. The menu lists a Signature Avocado Smash & Eggs and a Breakfast Burger. The site lists Tuesday as closed and 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM on the other days.

Remnscnt Cafe’s online ordering page prints Simply Eggs at $12.50, Easy Bene at $19.80 and Chill Scramble at $22.50, with Waffles from $21.50 for the sweet side. The kids’ menu lists Egg Soldiers, and a Baby Cino is $2.50. AGFG lists Monday to Saturday as 7:30 AM to 3:00 PM and Sunday as 8:30 AM to 3:30 PM. Those are online-ordering prices that can differ in store, so check.

St. Zita’s site calls it a neighbourhood cafe in Glen Huntly serving quality coffee and comforting brunch, with a menu inspired by cafe favourites and Asian influences. Its page title says Authentic Malaysian Cuisine. The hours here are OpenStreetMap’s: Mo-Fr 08:00-15:30 and Sa,Su 09:00-15:30.
Go for: Brunch with an Asian lean, going by its own wording; check the menu before you commit.
Oasis Bakery & Cafe Murrumbeena — 9/993 North Road, Murrumbeena VIC 3163
Oasis Bakery & Cafe Murrumbeena lists its hours on its own Visit page as Saturday to Thursday 8am to 7pm and Friday 8am to 8pm. Its pickup ordering page shows breakfast available 9:00 am to 6:59 pm. Prices there include Sausage, Egg & Avo Wrap at A$11.00, Breakfast Burger at A$15.00 and Shakshuka Brekkie at A$19.00. That is the order page, so in-store prices may differ.
