Which dessert place suits what you feel like? This page sorts six of them by what they actually sell: chocolate, gelato, doughnuts, French-style pastry, matcha and custom cakes. Five are on Koornang Road in Carnegie. One, a cake bakery, is over on Glen Huntly Road in Glen Huntly.
Every entry is built from what the venue or a named source says about it. Where we found a price, it is copied beside the item. Where we found none, the table says so.
Hours differ between sources for a couple of these places, so each hours line names whose listing it comes from. Check before you head out.

Lizzy’s Chocolate Creations — 172 Koornang Road, Carnegie VIC 3163
This is a chocolate shop and bakery. Its site lists baked goods, solid bars, gift boxes and a menu category labelled Vegan. AGFG lists hot chocolate in mint, orange, chilli, hazelnut and salted caramel versions.
The Rocky Road slab is $ 15.00 on the site’s price list. Its site shows two different Saturday closing times, so confirm that day before you go.

Order: Start with the Honeycomb Brownie, which the site sells in a range of sizes.
Lukumades Carnegie — Shop 3, 89 Koornang Road, Carnegie VIC 3163
Lukumades is a doughnut shop, and its site says the doughnuts are made fresh to order. It also says that apart from the doughnuts it serves creamy gelato, coffee, refreshers and shakes.
Its site lists 12pm-11pm daily. The Koornang Road traders’ site describes it as a spot for a late-night dessert or coffee and gelato. AGFG tags it for takeaway and delivery. We could not find a price list recent enough to quote.
The build: Hot doughnuts first, then gelato on the side if the menu lets you.
Nuvoletta Gelateria — 82 Koornang Road, Carnegie VIC 3163
Nuvoletta’s own site calls its gelato 100% natural, artisanal and freshly made. It says the menu includes 18 flavours and that the special flavours rotate. The gelato page names Fiordilatte, Sicilian Pistacchio and Choc Cookie Cremino among them.
The koornangroad.com.au trader listing gives Friday and Saturday as 12 pm–10 pm. That listing is a directory, not the shop’s own site, so treat the hours as a guide. We could not find prices.
Mess forecast: Gelato in a cone is a race against the weather, so plan to eat it near the shop.
T6 Patisserie — 88 Koornang Road, Carnegie VIC 3163
T6 describes itself as a destination for French-style Asian fusion delights, with cakes, pastries and sweets. The koornangroad.com.au listing singles out the Onde-Onde cake, described as pandan sponge with custard.
Its site lists Monday as closed. Tuesday to Friday it prints 07.30 - 17.00, and Saturday and Sunday run 08.00 - 17.00. We could not find prices.
Order: The Onde-Onde cake is the item the trader listing names.
Luka — 144 Koornang Road, Carnegie VIC 3163
Luka is a newer cafe, and Broadsheet says it brings matcha, pastries, desserts and daytime DJ sets to the street. Broadsheet also names the suppliers: cakes from Tori’s, pastries from Publique, cookies from Butterboy, and coffee from Ona.
Broadsheet lists Sunday to Friday 10am-7pm and Saturday 9am-7pm. A th3rdwave.coffee listing shows a later close, so the closing time is disputed. Check before you go late, as Broadsheet lists no phone. We could not find prices.

Buildacake Bakery Glen Huntly — 1219 Glen Huntly Road, Glen Huntly VIC 3163
This is a custom-cake bakery. Its site says it specialises in custom-designed cakes made by cake decorators, and it lists vegan cakes plus gluten and allergy free cakes.
The site gives Monday to Friday 7:30am - 5pm and Saturday and Sunday 8am - 2pm. OpenStreetMap shows a slightly different Sunday start. We could not find prices.

Lizzy’s Chocolate Creations at 172 Koornang Road is a chocolate shop and bakery. Its site lists solid chocolate bars at $ 5.00 and a Homemade Choc Chip Cookie at $ 6.50, and AGFG lists flavoured hot chocolates.
Is there a gelato shop in Carnegie?
Nuvoletta Gelateria at 82 Koornang Road says its gelato is natural, artisanal and freshly made, with 18 flavours on the menu. Lukumades Carnegie also says it serves creamy gelato alongside its doughnuts.
Where can I order a custom or vegan cake near Carnegie?
