Correction (5 October 2026): an earlier version of this page listed places and details we could not stand behind. It has been rewritten from scratch: every place below was confirmed at two independent sources on 5 October 2026, and every price was copied from the page it was published on.
The word Asian covers a lot of kitchens, so this page names the style each place names for itself and nothing more. Six restaurants made the list. Four name a style: Malaysian, Vietnamese, Vietnamese and Chinese, and Filipino-Asian fusion; Wok King’s listing names stir fry noodles and noodle soups, and Noodle Land’s listing gives only its name. Three are in Deer Park (Chef Lagenda, Noodle Land and Western Pho) and three are in Cairnlea, the suburb next door (Wok King, Kim Huong and No 93 BBQ House).
Only one of the six printed a price list we could read, so only Western Pho has dollar amounts. For each place you get what the listing or menu says, a one-line decoder for the dishes it names, and the hours as the source prints them. We read menus and listings. We do not review the food.

Chef Lagenda (Deer Park) — Shop 9 & 10, 835A Ballarat Road, Deer Park VIC 3023
Chef Lagenda’s own site says Thomas Lee expanded Chef Lagenda to Deer Park “building on the success of the Flemington location”, bringing his “authentic Malaysian culinary expertise”, and that the restaurant serves “bold, flavourful dishes inspired by the street food of Ipoh”. Ipoh is a city in Malaysia. The site lists the restaurant open 11:30 am to 9:30 pm every day, and closed on public holidays.
The menu link on the site is a PDF or script page, so we captured no prices. Its Deer Park page prints no street address, so the address comes from AGFG and OpenStreetMap.
How to order: The site offers View Menu, Order Online and Get Directions buttons, plus a phone number.
Noodle Land — Brimbank Shopping Centre, cnr Neale and Station Roads, Deer Park VIC 3023
Noodle Land is listed in the Brimbank Shopping Centre food directory, and OpenStreetMap maps it by name. The directory prints a same-day “Open today” line only, so we have no weekly hours to give you. The address is the centre’s address.
We captured no local menu prices, and we have no menu text for it, so we cannot say what it serves beyond its name.
Menu says: We have no menu text from Noodle Land to quote, so check the centre’s food directory for the current listing.
Western Pho — 823 Ballarat Rd, Deer Park VIC 3023
Western Pho shares one online menu with Western Rolls, and the operator’s site lists it as a current store. Pho is a Vietnamese noodle soup of rice noodles in broth. Bun Bo Hue is a beef noodle soup named for the city of Hue in central Vietnam. Fried Rice needs no decoder.
The site lists the restaurant 11am to 10pm every day. The menu items below are available 11:30am to 8:30pm, which is shorter than the store hours, so check the day you go. AGFG’s feature list for Western Pho includes “Child Friendly”, “Gluten Free Options” and “Vegetarian Options”; those tags come from AGFG, not the menu.

Order this first: Pho, at $17.50 – $18.50 on the menu, matches the restaurant’s name, so it is the obvious place to start.
Wok King — Shop 11/100 Furlong Rd, Cairnlea VIC 3023
Wok King is in Cairnlea. The Cairnlea Town Centre listing describes it with: “Freshly Made to Order: – Stir Fry Noodles – Noodle Soups • Flame Grilled Chicken and Chips”. Stir fry noodles are cooked in a wok and served dry; noodle soups come in broth. The listing gives 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM every day.
We captured no menu prices for Wok King.
Decoder: Stir fry noodles are the dry plate and noodle soups are the broth plate, so decide which you want before you reach the counter.
Kim Huong Vietnamese Restaurant — 5/100 Furlong Rd, Cairnlea VIC 3023
The Cairnlea Town Centre listing says: “The Kim Huong Vietnamese and Chinese Restaurant offers eat-in, takeaway and delivery services in Cairnlea.” That listing prints 10:00 AM to 11:00 PM every day, and the same listing is where the late hours come from.
The hours conflict between sources. The AGFG listing prints different, shorter hours on some days, so treat Kim Huong as listed as open late and check the day you go. The restaurant’s own site did not load for us, and we captured no menu prices.
Region: The listing names the restaurant as Vietnamese and Chinese, but we have no dish names to decode.
No 93 BBQ House — GO7/118 Cairnlea Dr, Cairnlea VIC 3023
No 93 BBQ House’s own site describes its food as “Filipino-Asian Fusion”, served in Melbourne’s west. The site lists it closed on Monday and open 11:00 am to 9:00 pm Tuesday to Sunday. Fusion here means a menu that mixes Filipino cooking with other styles; the site does not break that down for us.
The site says BYO is allowed and that a corkage fee applies per bottle. It also says walk-ins are welcome, and that you can call the restaurant to book. We captured no menu prices because the menu page was not readable text.

No 93 BBQ House, per its own site, which lists Monday closed and Tuesday to Sunday 11:00 am to 9:00 pm. Chef Lagenda’s site lists it closed on public holidays.
