Six places made this list, and they sit in and around Deer Park. Four have a Deer Park address. Three Hungry Birds is in Derrimut and Eating Station is in Ravenhall, both neighbouring suburbs.
Every entry rests on listed hours and a menu or listing we could read: AGFG, the shopping centre’s pages, a venue’s own site or a delivery listing. Where we found a price, it sits beside its item. Where we did not, the table says so.
Start times are the useful part, and they differ a lot from stop to stop. Check the day you plan to go, because listings do not always agree with each other.

The Cafe Land — 28 Neale Rd, Deer Park VIC 3023
The Brimbank Central shopping centre’s page says The Café Land “serves breakfast, lunch and everything in between!” It also says the cafe “specialises in traditional Vietnamese cuisine as well as the Western classics.” The same page lists trading hours of Monday to Friday 8:00am to 5:00pm, and Saturday and Sunday 9:00am to 5:00pm. The page heading reads Vietspace, but its text names The Café Land. AGFG shows later hours on Thursday and Friday, so check the day.
The order: we could not read a menu or a price for this cafe, so check the dishes with the venue before you go.
Muffin Break Deer Park, Brimbank — Brimbank Central Shopping Centre, Corner Neale & Station Roads, Deer Park VIC 3023
Muffin Break’s own store page lists Monday to Wednesday 8:00am to 5:30pm, Thursday and Friday 8:00am to 8:00pm, Saturday 8:00am to 5:00pm and Sunday 10:00am to 5:00pm. The shopping centre’s listing shows a different Monday to Wednesday start, from 9:00am, so we used the brand’s page. The centre says “Everything is baked and prepared in-store from the freshest of ingredients.” The store page carries the line “Breakfast Croissant Toasties Wrap”, and we could not read store-specific prices.
Go for: the breakfast line on the store page, with the price confirmed at the counter.
Western Rolls — 2B Burnside St, Deer Park VIC 3023
The shop’s own site lists Monday to Saturday 7.30am to 4:30pm, with Sunday closed. AGFG prints shorter hours, so we used the shop’s own line. The catch for early risers: the menu lists Rice Paper Rolls and Bread Rolls as available 9:00am-2:00pm Mon-Sat, so opening time and roll time are not the same thing. The online menu at eatviet.com.au is shared with its sister shop Western Pho, so check which shop serves a dish. Rice Paper Rolls are $3.50 and Bread Rolls are $9.00 – $11.00. AGFG’s feature list for the shop includes “Vegan Options” and “Child Friendly”.

Ritmo Drive Thru Coffee — 782 Ballarat Rd, Deer Park VIC 3023
AGFG lists Ritmo for Monday to Saturday 4:30 AM to 3:00 PM and Sunday 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM, and tags it “Takeaway”. The dlook.com.au directory also lists the address. Its Facebook page needs a login, so this entry rests on those two listings. The name may have changed, so look for the drive-thru coffee stop at 782 Ballarat Road rather than the sign. Three Hungry Birds — 93 Elgar Rd, Derrimut VIC 3026
This is a cafe in Derrimut’s industrial area, in a suburb next to Deer Park. AGFG lists “Mon - Fri - 5.00am - 3pm, closed weekends”. The Uber Eats listing describes it as “Breakfast and brunch”, and its prices come from that listing, which can differ from in-store. Eggs on Toast is $11.00 and the Egg, Bacon & Cheese Muffin is $7.50. Small Breakfast is $16.50 and Big Breakfast is $22.00.

Eating Station — 269 Robinsons Road, Ravenhall VIC 3023
Eating Station is in Ravenhall, a suburb next to Deer Park. AGFG lists breakfast as “Breakfast: 7 Days”, with Monday to Friday 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM and Saturday and Sunday 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM. The same AGFG listing tags it “Free Wifi”, “Child Friendly”, “Alfresco Dining” and “Vegan Options”. The hours and tags come from AGFG, not from a site of the cafe’s own, and DoorDash marks its menu prices as estimated, so we print none.
