Correction (1 October 2026): an earlier version of this page listed gyms “in Epping” with weekly prices, opening hours, equipment lists and “best time to go” tips that were generated from templates, not checked. It gave every one of them a postcode, 3094, that belongs to Montmorency, not Epping (3076), and said every option had been tested in person. That was not true. The page has been rewritten from scratch: every gym below was checked against its own website and a second, independent source on 1 October 2026, and nothing from the old page was kept.
Epping sits 18 km north of the CBD in the City of Whittlesea, served by Epping station on the Mernda line, and it is better stocked for training than the old version of this page let on. Pacific Epping, 500 metres from the station, has two budget 24/7 clubs under one roof. The Y runs a full leisure centre on Miller Street. A lifter’s gym shares Miller Street with it, a 24/7 gym with its own boxing ring sits on Oherns Road, and there’s a women-only club on High Street.
Haven’t trained since school? Doesn’t matter. Here’s who prints a price, who is open around the clock, who has Reformer Pilates and who has a ring, with every figure copied from the gym’s own website on 1 October 2026. Where a gym prints no price, we say so rather than guess.

Y Leisure City — 41-53 Miller St, Epping VIC 3076
The leisure centre, run by YMCA Whittlesea under the “Y Leisure City” name. The health club is one part of a bigger complex: the menu also covers swimming lessons, gymnastics, five indoor tennis courts, basketball, netball, indoor football, beach volleyball, a creche and a cafe. The 24/7 gym comes with an initial health consultation and an exercise program from a qualified health professional, and unlimited Reformer Pilates classes come with the Gold membership.
Fees (per week, 2026):
- Bronze: $12.50, with 24/7 health club access, an initial health evaluation and a program.
- Gold: $29, adding unlimited Reformer Pilates and casual shooting on the basketball courts.
- Teens (13 to 17) and over-60s: $12.50 for Bronze Youth or Bronze Active Adult, listed with access during operating hours.
- No joining fees, a 3-month minimum term, paid by fortnightly direct debit.
- Casual health club entry: $13 per session.
- Families with a child enrolled at Leisure City can take an All Access Supporter membership at $11.50 a week, with no minimum term and access during operating hours.
Hours: the centre opens Monday to Thursday 9am to 10pm, Friday 9am to 9pm, Saturday 8am to 4pm and Sunday 8.45am to 4pm. Health club members have 24/7 access to the gym.

Planet Fitness Epping — 560-650 High Street, Epping VIC 3076
The newcomer: Planet Fitness published its “Now Open” article for Epping on 27 May 2026, and the club sits inside Pacific Epping. Its club page lists 35 treadmills, 12 bikes, 4 rowing machines, 6 Smith machines, free weights, TRX and battle ropes, plus three half racks with deadlift platforms, a hack squat and a glute trainer. There are 12 Reformer Pilates beds for on-demand, self-guided sessions, and Black Card members also get massage chairs, HydroMassage beds, red light booths, spray tanning and a CryoLounge. All of those Black Card extras, the Pilates included, run in staffed hours only. The club says classes are included with every membership.
Fees (per week, 2026):
- Classic Weekly: $7.00, billed fortnightly, with a $49 annual fee and a join fee.
- Classic 12 Month: $7.00 too, with a $99 early termination fee if you cancel inside the 12 months.
- PF Black Card: $10.95, billed fortnightly, with the $49 annual fee. The club page’s banner advertises a $10 join fee with an asterisk, so check the join fee when you sign up.
Hours: open 24/7. Staffed Monday to Thursday 6am to 9pm, Friday 6am to 8pm, Saturday 9am to 5pm and Sunday 9am to 4pm.

Revo Fitness Epping — 20 Jovic Road, Epping VIC 3076
The other budget club in Pacific Epping (the centre’s directory puts it at Shop 245A). Revo’s club page lists 1,635 square metres with 11 squat racks, pin and plate loaded machines, a “Huge cardio area”, 13 Reformer Pilates beds, six massage chairs and two Evolt body scanners. Know this before you join for the Pilates: it is on demand. You pick a class on the screen, connect your headphones and follow along, at any hour, and the instruction comes from the screen rather than a live class.
Fees (per week, 2026):
- Level One: $9.69, debited monthly, with 24/7 access and no lock-in contract.
- Level Two: $12.69, adding Reformer Pilates, the massage chairs and the body scanner.
- Revo lists no sign-up, admin, transaction or annual fees.
Hours: open 24/7. Staffed Monday to Thursday 9am to 8pm, Friday 9am to 4pm, and Saturday and Sunday 9am to 1pm.

Atomic Gym — 109 Miller Street, Epping VIC 3076
The lifter’s option, on the same street as Leisure City. Atomic calls itself “a boutique and professional gym, suitable for all fitness levels” and lists dumbbells up to 200lb, a large range of cardio machines, a stretching area, a supplement, meals and apparel range, and parking on site. Its site lists personal trainers including posing coaches, plus an infrared sauna and physiotherapy among its services. It’s the one gym here with set hours rather than 24/7 access.
Fees (2026):
- Direct debit: $13.95 a week on a 12-month membership.
- Up front: 1 month $100, 3 months $249, 6 months $399, 12 months $699, or 15 months $899.
- Casual visit: $15.

Flex 24/7 Gym — 135 Oherns Road, Epping VIC 3076
The one with a ring. Flex says it is “Open and Staffed 24/7”, and its feature list runs to a boxing ring, a basketball court, infrared saunas, massage chairs, a separate cardio section and a supplement and apparel superstore. For the strength crowd it lists three power racks, three monolift racks and three combo racks, a 25 metre turf strip, and a leg section with vertical, pin loaded and plate loaded leg presses, hack squats and a pendulum squat. Flex also runs a club in Mickleham.
Fees (2026):
- Standing memberships: 1 month $150, 3 months $280 and 6 months $430, each with a $20 card access fee; 12 months $800.
- Limited-time sale on the website on 1 October 2026: $8.99 a week by direct debit, or $399 for 12 months up front, with the admin fee waived and the $20 card access fee for new members. Sales end, so check it’s still running.
- Direct debit memberships need 28 days’ written notice to cancel.

Fernwood Epping — Unit 5/500 High Street, Epping VIC 3076
The women-only club. Fernwood’s Epping page lists unlimited group fitness, a dedicated boxing zone, Reformer Pilates in its Fusion Pilates studio, yoga, barre, free weights and cardio, an infrared sauna, HYPOXI, childcare and a Mums & Bubs program. Reformer sessions are sold as packs online or in club, or added to a membership. If you’re under 18, a parent or guardian has to join with you.
Fees: not published on the club page, which says costs “vary depending on the plan you choose and your local club” and that a joining or onboarding fee applies. It offers trial passes, so ask the club for current pricing.
Hours: open 24/7 for members. Staffed Monday to Thursday 8am to 8pm, Friday 8am to 7pm and Saturday 8am to 11:30am; Sunday is unstaffed. Fernwood asks you to make your first visit in staffed hours.

Zap Fitness Lyndarum — Shop 7, 1 Lyndarum Drive, Epping VIC 3076
The north-end option (Zap’s own address line reads “Epping North”). The club page lists strength, pin loaded and free weights, a functional training zone with battle ropes, cardio equipment, a dedicated stretching area, personal training, change rooms and free parking. Searching for “Jetts Epping”? Some gym directories still list a Jetts Fitness at 1 Lyndarum Drive; on 1 October 2026 Zap’s own site lists this club at that address.
Fees: not shown on the club page. Zap advertises a free first session as a trial and links to a memberships page for plans.
Hours: open 24 hours. Staffed Monday to Thursday 12pm to 3pm and 3:30pm to 6:30pm, and Saturday 11am to 2pm; Friday, Sunday and public holidays are unstaffed.

Anytime Fitness has a club at Shop 2, 58 Childs Road, which says it is “Open to Members 24/7” and that it has just been upgraded. It publishes no prices on its club page, so it sits here rather than in the list above; book a visit through the club page to get a quote.
Swimmers, note: the pool at Y Leisure City is for its swimming lessons (plus booked ladies-only sessions on Monday nights), and the centre says no casual swimming is available. For laps, the City of Whittlesea’s pools page lists Thomastown Recreation and Aquatic Centre (TRAC) on Main Street, Thomastown, with an indoor 25 metre lap pool, and Mill Park Leisure on Morang Drive, with an 8 lane, 25m pool.

What is the cheapest gym membership in Epping?

Where can I do reformer Pilates in Epping?

Y Leisure City’s FAQ page shows some older figures; we used the prices on its membership page. Fernwood, Zap and Anytime Fitness print no prices on their club pages, so we don’t guess them.
How we picked: these are the gyms inside Epping that we could confirm at two sources, ordered by what each offers (a full leisure centre first, then the 24/7 budget clubs, then the specialists), not by a score. The suburb facts (distance, council, Pacific Epping and the station) are from Wikipedia’s Epping article, and the pool details are from the City of Whittlesea and the centres’ own sites.
