The name makes the pitch: steak. Its own site gives the address in the Ikon Centre on Kingsway Parade. AGFG lists Takeaway for the venue. We could not read a menu with prices, so budget by ringing ahead.

The Roe Australia — 49-55 Myrtle Street, Glen Waverley VIC 3150
Roe is fish eggs, and the name points to seafood. Its site lists Monday to Sunday, 11:30AM to 3:00PM and 5:30PM to 9.30PM. AGFG lists Child Friendly, Takeaway and Live Music. If you want to talk, weigh that live music tag.
Talk-ability: AGFG lists live music, so expect to raise your voice if it is on; ask when you book.
Shira Nui — 247 Springvale Road, Glen Waverley VIC 3150
Shira Nui’s own site lists Wednesday to Saturday, 12 to 2 pm and 6 to 9 pm, and shows Sunday to Tuesday closed. AGFG lists Takeaway. The site carries a recent date, so the hours are a fair guide.
Exit plan: If the week is wrong, try Marble Yakiniku on another night, since this one is closed early in the week.
Marble Yakiniku — 52-54 O’Sullivan Road, Glen Waverley VIC 3150
Yakiniku means grilled meat. The venue’s own site gives its address on O’Sullivan Road. AGFG lists Child Friendly, Vegan Options and Takeaway, so a mixed table has options on paper. The site is undated, so check it is current.

Elephant Corridor — 179 Coleman Parade, Glen Waverley VIC 3150
Elephant Corridor’s site lists every night from 5PM to 9:30PM, with 12PM to 3PM added Friday to Sunday. On AGFG the tags are Child Friendly, BYO, Takeaway and Alfresco Dining. That makes it the one with BYO listed.
