Two venues made this page, and that is the honest count. One lists live music on its own site and the other’s listing is a third-party reproduction of its posts, and both were confirmed at independent sources on 3 October 2026. We would rather give you two places we can stand behind than pad the list.
One is in Hampton and one is across the border in Sandringham, so this is an “in and around Hampton” page. Hampton Hotel is on Hampton Street. Rhythm & Tonic is on Bay Road, Sandringham.
For each place we give the gig nights it lists, in its own words, and the hours it publishes. We have no lineups, capacity figures or door prices for either, so none appear here. Check the venue’s own posts for the night you are planning.

Hampton Hotel — 382 Hampton Street, Hampton VIC 3188
Hampton Hotel’s own site lists “Live DJ, Fridays and Saturdays from 5pm” and “Piano Man, Saturdays, from 8pm”. We have no lineup beyond those two listings, so none is printed here. The site lists Friday and Saturday trading as “11:30am until late”, with no closing time given. For the rest of the week it lists Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday as 11:30am-10pm and Sunday as 11:30am-9pm.
The site also lists a Happy Hour of 3-6pm Monday-Friday and 3-5pm Saturday & Sunday, which means the Saturday listing finishes just as the DJ listing starts.

Rhythm & Tonic — 44 Bay Road, Sandringham VIC 3191
Rhythm & Tonic is in Sandringham, not Hampton. We found no website of its own, so what we know comes from a findglocal.com listing that reproduces the bar’s posts, and from OpenStreetMap and the Sandy Village traders’ directory for the address. The listing describes it as a cosy neighbourhood cocktail and live music bar, and carries one post headed “OPEN MIC NIGHT at Rhythm & Tonic”, from which we could not tell whether the open mic is a regular night. It also describes “3 unique indoor spaces, games room & large private beer garden”.
That same listing gives hours of Wednesday to Saturday 5pm - 11pm and Sunday 5pm - 10pm. They are third-party hours, so confirm them with the bar before kick-ons are on the agenda. One post on the listing mentions “1/2 price cocktails from 6–9PM”, and we could not confirm it is a standing offer. We have no menu prices for the bar, so there is no price list here.
Catch: the open mic appears in one post, with no night or time, so check the bar’s own posts before you plan around it.
