Deux Soeurs — 1130 Nepean Hwy, Highett VIC 3190
Deux Soeurs sits on Nepean Highway, and its own site gives the address. AGFG lists Alfresco Dining, so ask about an outdoor table if you want a mild evening and a bit of air between you and the next table. AGFG’s listing shows Monday to Saturday, 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM, and Sunday closed. That is an owner-maintained directory and the site is undated, so confirm before you book. Plan B: swap the night, since it is only a dinner window.
Stage: Third date or an anniversary, when a set dinner window suits a sit-down plan better than a drop-in.
Hellenic House Project — 515 Highett Rd, Highett VIC 3190
The Hellenic House Project is on Highett Road, and its own site lists Tuesday to Saturday from 12pm to late, Sunday 12pm to 9pm and Monday closed. AGFG lists Child Friendly, Vegan Options, Takeaway, Live Music and Alfresco Dining. If live music is on the night you pick, expect conversation to compete with it. The site is undated, so check the hours first. Plan B: ask whether a quieter night suits you better.

Kickin’Inn — 1117 Nepean Highway, Highett VIC 3190
Kickin’Inn is on Nepean Highway, and its own site lists Monday to Wednesday from 4:30pm to 9pm and Thursday to Sunday from 12pm to 9pm. OpenStreetMap’s tags show slightly different times, so confirm the night you want. The printed menu has mud cake, red velvet cake and cookies and cream cake, each at $9.95. Plan B: an early table here leaves room for a walk afterwards.

AGFG lists Alfresco Dining, so ask about outdoor seating if the weather plays along. We print no menu prices for it, and the site is undated. Plan B: if the night you want is a Monday or Tuesday, pick another place on this page.
Exit plan: It is a Moorabbin address, so sort out how you are getting home before you book, because the listed evening starts late-ish.
