A good date dinner needs an easy table, a price you can read before you sit down, and a plan B if the night changes. This page covers four places, all with Hoppers Crossing addresses: three sit-down dinners (Italian, Thai and Japanese) and a Greek dessert shop to finish. Three of them are on Old Geelong Road and the dessert stop is on Elm Park Drive.
It is a short list on purpose. Each place was read at two or more sources, and where a price comes from a delivery platform, or a place publishes none we could read, the entry says so. The entries report what each place publishes. They do not judge atmosphere, and none of them is ranked above another.

Elio Italian Family Bistro — 39 Old Geelong Road, Hoppers Crossing VIC 3029
Elio’s own site gives its address as 39 Old Geelong Road, and its ordering page prints meal deals. The Pizza + Pasta Deal is $45.00 for one large traditional pizza and one pasta, and the menu says you can upgrade to a gourmet pizza for a little extra. The Pizza Deal - Garlic Bread is $49.50 for two large traditional pizzas and one garlic bread. Its online-ordering page lists Saturday pickup and delivery hours of 4:30pm to 10:30pm; AGFG lists a later Saturday opening, so confirm dine-in times with the restaurant. The Fridays Lunch Combo at $24.00 is a Friday lunch item only (the page marks it “Available Friday from 11:00am”): one large traditional pizza, garlic bread and a can of soft drink.

Hanuman Thai Restaurant — 35 Old Geelong Road, Hoppers Crossing VIC 3029
OpenStreetMap and the DoorDash listing both give 35 Old Geelong Road. We read Hanuman through DoorDash and Restaurant Guru, so the prices below are DoorDash platform prices, which the page says the merchant sets, and the dine-in menu may differ. DoorDash lists Pad Thai Noodles, Pad See Ew Noodles, Thai Fried Rice and Drunk Basil Noodles at $20.90 each as featured items. Pad see ew is a wide rice noodle stir-fry, so there is a choice between noodles and rice at the same price. DoorDash lists “Full Menu” hours of 11:30 am–2:40 pm; 4:30 pm–11:10 pm.

Okami Japanese Restaurant — 3/428 Old Geelong Road, Hoppers Crossing VIC 3029
Okami’s own page says “We offer an extremely generous all-you-can-eat menu with lots of hot and cold Japanese dishes including seafood, tofu, noodles, sushi, salads and more.” The adult price is $42.80/person, and drinks are not included. The site says BYO is available for wine and champagne only, with a corkage charge per bottle. It also says it cannot accommodate completely coeliac, gluten-free or vegan dishes, which is worth knowing before you book for two. Okami’s site lists Friday 5:00 pm – 10:30 pm with the kitchen closing at 9:30 pm, and AGFG’s listing shows it closed on Monday.

Exit plan: The page prints a limit on sitting time, so this suits a dinner with a clear end, and Honey Dee below is the dessert plan B.
Honey Dee Loukoumades — 2/38-40 Elm Park Drive, Hoppers Crossing VIC 3029
Wyndham City’s directory and Honey Dee’s own site agree on the Elm Park Drive address. The council describes it as “Classic hand made Loukoumades Traditional frothed Greek frappe Toasted waffles Thick shakes milk shakes with real chocolate sauces”. Loukoumades are small Greek fried dough balls, usually served with syrup. We could not read prices: the own menu page is images without prices, and DoorDash says prices may differ between delivery and pickup. DoorDash also tags it “Plant Based Options”. AGFG lists Thursday 12:00 PM - 3:00 PM and 6:00 PM - 10:00 PM, Friday and Saturday 6:00 PM - 11:00 PM, and closed Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Sunday.
Stage: Best slotted in after dinner somewhere else on a Thursday, Friday or Saturday evening, the evenings AGFG lists.

Where can you get dessert after dinner in Hoppers Crossing?
Honey Dee Loukoumades on Elm Park Drive is a Greek dessert shop selling loukoumades, frappe, waffles and shakes, according to the council directory. AGFG lists evening hours on Thursday, Friday and Saturday, so check before you plan around it.
