This page answers a plain question: where can you eat casually in and around Ivanhoe when you want something from an Asian kitchen? We checked four places, three in Ivanhoe and one in Ivanhoe East, and each is described in its own terms rather than lumped together.
We confirmed every address against at least two sources and copied hours and prices from each venue’s own site. Where a page gave no price we copied, we print none. Dishes are explained in a line so a first order is easier to read.

126 Asian Cuisine — 126 Upper Heidelberg Rd, Ivanhoe VIC 3079
126 Asian Cuisine is on Upper Heidelberg Rd, and its own site lists trading hours of 11:00am to 9:00pm from Monday to Saturday, with Sunday closed. We could not read a menu with prices, so no dish or price is printed here, and we will not guess at a regional style the site does not name. The site is the place to read the menu before you go.
Menu says: We could not read a priced menu, so open the venue’s site and let the dish names set your first order.
My Rice Story — 145 Upper Heidelberg Road, Ivanhoe VIC 3079
My Rice Story’s site lists bibimbap, a rice bowl where the toppings sit on top and are mixed together at the table. The Avocado Bibimbap (Vegan) is $18.50. The Egg Rolls Bibimbap is also $18.50, and its menu describes it as two egg rolls. The site lists hours of Monday to Saturday, 11:30 AM to 8:00 PM. It is undated, so check it is current.

Thai Lantern — 228 Upper Heidelberg Road, Ivanhoe VIC 3079
Thai Lantern’s own site says dinner seven days, from 5:30pm to 9:30pm. AGFG lists it with BYO, Takeaway and Child Friendly, which are listing features. BYO means you bring your own bottle, and the venue sets its own rules on corkage. We could not read a priced menu, so we print no dishes or prices.
How to order: Check the BYO and takeaway details with the restaurant, as AGFG’s tags are listing features and may have changed.
Issho Japanese — 248 Lower Heidelberg Road, Ivanhoe East VIC 3079
Issho Japanese is in Ivanhoe East, on Lower Heidelberg Road. Its dine-in menu lists Beef Curry Udon at $22 in the section we copied, and prices differ between sections of that menu, so check the one you order from; udon are thick wheat noodles in broth. The Chicken Katsu Curry Don is $20, a katsu being a crumbed cutlet and a don a rice bowl. The Avocado Maki is $6, and the Wagyu Beef Sushi is $14. The menu file looks older than the site, so check prices before you go.

My Rice Story and Issho Japanese both print prices on pages we read. My Rice Story lists the four bibimbap we copied at $18.50 each, and Issho Japanese lists items such as Avocado Maki at $6. The other two places did not give a price we could read.
Is any of these open on a Sunday?
Thai Lantern’s site says dinner seven days, so Sunday evening is covered by its own listing. 126 Asian Cuisine, My Rice Story and Issho Japanese each list Sunday as closed or give Monday to Saturday hours.
Where is Issho Japanese, and is it in Ivanhoe?
Issho Japanese is at Lower Heidelberg Road in Ivanhoe East, which is next to Ivanhoe. Its own site and AGFG agree on the address, and AGFG also lists it with BYO, Takeaway, Child Friendly and Alfresco Dining.
