Short list, and we will say so. Three places in Ivanhoe had enough on the public record for us to stand behind them: the council’s Ivanhoe Aquatic pool and gym, Livingstone Community Centre and its classes, and Ivanhoe Public Golf Course.
Only one of the three is a gym. We have no private gym in Ivanhoe that passed our checks, so we have not listed one. Haven’t swum laps since school? Doesn’t matter. Start with the pool prices below.

Ivanhoe Aquatic — Waterdale Road, Ivanhoe VIC 3079
Ivanhoe Aquatic is council-run. It is on Waterdale Road, and the council page says it is a 10 minute walk from Ivanhoe station. No page we read prints a street number, so we are not giving one.
The council page lists the pool and the gym separately. On the pool: “Also find out when lanes in the 25-metre indoor pool are available.” On the gym, it describes “packing the new layout with brand-new, state-of-the-art Technogym equipment”.
Hours as the council lists them: “Opening hours Weekdays: 6am-9.15pm Saturdays: 7am-7.45pm Sundays: 7am-7:45pm Public holidays: 8am-6pm”. The council also lists “Children under age 5 are free with a paying adult”.
Prices are casual entry. Swim, spa and sauna is $9.00 for an adult, and Gym and group fitness is $21.00. Memberships are billed fortnightly: the Complete package is $58.50 per fortnight and the Aquatics package is $30.50 per fortnight.

Livingstone Community Centre — 1 Livingstone Street, Ivanhoe VIC 3079
Livingstone’s own website lists “Classes Book Now or Find Out More…”. The pages we read do not say which classes are fitness classes, so ask before you book. Its address on its own site is 1 Livingstone Street, and it lists the phone number (03) 9497 2014.
We are printing no hours and no prices for it. The site also says the Ivanhoe Makers Market at the centre “is currently taking a break”, so do not plan a market visit.

Ivanhoe Public Golf Course — Vasey Street, Ivanhoe VIC 3079
The course’s own website says “Ivanhoe Golf Course is an 18 hole fully watered, with a picturesque setting bordered by Yarra River” and “All visitors welcome.” OpenStreetMap tags it as an 18 hole course with a par of 68. The site lists an “Ivanhoe Pavilion Cafe and Function Room” as well.
Course hours on the site: “Course Hours Daylight Savings Times Mon to Sun – 6:00am-7:00pm Public Holidays – 6:00am-7:00pm Non-Daylight Savings Times Mon to Sun – 6:00am-6:00pm Public Holidays – 6:00am-6:00pm Closed – Christmas Day”. No street number is published, only Vasey Street. We could not read green fees, so no golf prices are printed here.
