This is a thin page, and it says so. Three places passed our checks: one cafe in Ivanhoe, one in Alphington and one park in Bellfield.
No cafe here states that dogs are allowed. Only Ford Park carries a dog statement, from Banyule Council. The cafes are listed only for what AGFG lists: takeaway for both, and alfresco dining for Fossette Cafe.
Each place was checked against two independent sources. Off-lead times are not listed here: check the council order.

Status: no dog statement found. AGFG lists Docasa as Child Friendly and Takeaway. Its own site gives the address as 59/61 Lower Heidelberg Rd.
AGFG is an owner-maintained directory and the cafe’s site is undated, so treat the details as possibly out of date.

Status: no dog statement found. AGFG lists Fossette Cafe with Alfresco Dining, Takeaway and Child Friendly. It is at 737 Heidelberg Rd in Alphington, which is next to Ivanhoe.
Its own site lists Monday - Friday 7:00 AM - 2:30 PM, Saturday 8:00 AM - 2:00 PM and Sunday closed.
Inside or outside only: AGFG lists alfresco dining, but outdoor tables as listed are not the same as dogs allowed, so ask first.
Ford Park — 244-268 Banksia Street, Bellfield VIC 3081
Off-leash status: Dog off lead zone, per Banyule Council. The council says its fully fenced, off-lead exercise areas have park benches, dog waste bins and drinking fountains with attached dog bowls, and it names Ford Park, Banksia Street, Bellfield among them.
The council’s listing also shows play equipment, public toilets, barbecues and walking and bike trails. Ford Park is in Bellfield, in the wider Ivanhoe area. For times and rules, check the council order.
Bring: your own bags and water, and read the sign at the gate, because the council order sets the rules.
