Arundel Farm Estate — 321 Arundel Rd, Keilor VIC 3036
AGFG tags Arundel Farm Estate as Romantic, and its own site describes a family-owned 300+ acre boutique winery and historic estate in Keilor. The site lists dinner from 5pm to 10pm on Fridays and Saturdays, and says cellar door tastings can be added to a lunch booking from Thursday to Sunday. Its online shop lists Marsanne 2023 at $29.00, which is a bottle price rather than a tasting fee. Plan B: the site says its menus include vegetarian and gluten-free options for all diners.

Paesino Pizzeria — 12D Kennedy Street, Keilor VIC 3036
AGFG tags Paesino Pizzeria as Romantic. Its site lists 5pm to 9pm Tuesday to Saturday, while AGFG shows different days, so check before you go. The site says its pizza dough is prepared in-house with a double-fermentation process that spans 48 hours. It also says it offers gluten free pizza bases and pasta but is not certified celiac friendly, which matters if that is part of the plan.

Keilor Hotel — 670 Old Calder Highway, Keilor VIC 3036
Keilor Hotel calls itself a restored pre-gold rush historic pub, and its site mentions open wood burning fires. AGFG lists Alfresco Dining. The site lists bistro hours of 12 PM to 2:30 PM and 5:30 PM to 9 PM Monday to Friday, and 12 PM to 9 PM on Saturday and Sunday. Its site points to a reservations page to make a booking, which is the sensible first move.

AGFG tags Taylors Lakes Hotel as Romantic and lists it as best known for wood fired pizza and daily specials. The JBJ’s Bistro listing on its site gives hours of 12:00PM to 2:30PM and 5:30PM to 8:30PM Sunday to Thursday, with dinner running to 9:00PM on Friday and Saturday. The act’s own event page lists a Fleetwood Mac tribute show on Saturday 10th Oct, with a dinner-and-show option. The sports bar menu prints MARGHERITA (V) (GFA) at $22.
