This list is built from what each place publishes: when it opens, what it says it serves, and a price only where one is printed. Five places made it. Two publish prices we could copy (Kew Breadworks on its own site, Jane & Co on its DoorDash page). Ora and Willo don’t publish prices in a form we could read, and for Adeney we found no menu at all, so those three sit here without numbers rather than with a guess.
Sweet or savoury, pick a lane. On the published menus, the savoury lane is eggs, bacon and a brekkie roll, and the sweet lane is French toast.

Ora Kew — 156 Pakington Street, Kew VIC 3101
Ora’s own site says its breakfast and brunch menu is available seven days, and describes the cafe as specialty coffee with a fresh seasonal breakfast and lunch menu. It calls itself “a Kew coffee institution for over a decade” on Pakington Street. Weekday hours are 7AM to 3PM with the kitchen closing at 2.00pm, and weekends are 8AM to 3PM, kitchen again closing at 2.00pm. Its menus are published as images, so no item prices could be copied. The roaster isn’t named in what we read.

Kew Breadworks Bakery & Cafe — 231 High Street, Kew VIC 3101
The cheapest published breakfast on this list. The bakery’s own site lists a small coffee and a small egg bacon roll for $8.50, from 8am to 11am every day, and a plate of egg, bacon, tomato and mushrooms for $11. Hours are 7am to 5pm Monday to Friday, 8am to 4pm Saturday and 8.30am to 3.30pm Sunday, so on weekdays you can arrive before the roll deal starts. The site notes that prices are subject to change.
The order: small coffee and small egg bacon roll, $8.50.
Jane & Co Cafe — 616 Glenferrie Road, Hawthorn VIC 3122
Hawthorn, just over the border from Kew. Its DoorDash page lists “All Day Breakfast”, and DoorDash menus can carry delivery mark-ups, so confirm dine-in prices. We found no working website for the cafe and captured no hours.
Sweet or savoury? Savoury is the Avo Avo, $20.90: smashed avocado with beetroot relish, dukkah, feta, poached eggs, sweet corn and radish on multigrain toast. Sweet is the French Toast, $21.50: cubed brioche loaf with lemon filling, fresh fruit, berry sauce, ice-cream, Oreo crumb and nuts. Eggs Your Way is $11.50 (sourdough, multigrain or gluten free, with poached, scrambled or fried eggs), and the Full Breakfast is $24.90, with bacon, chorizo, avocado, hash brown, spinach, roasted tomato, mushroom and scrambled egg on sourdough.

Willo Cafe — 56 Willsmere Road, Kew VIC 3101
Willo has no website that we could find, so this entry rests on listings. AGFG gives hours of 7:00 AM to 2:00 PM Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM to 2:00 PM Saturday and 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM Sunday, and names Allpress Coffee. It also names a Chili Scramble and the Willo Roll: triple smoked ham, bacon, fried egg, spinach, rosti, Swiss cheese, house-made relish and aioli on a brioche bun. No prices were captured.

Adeney Milk Bar Cafe — 70 Adeney Avenue, Kew VIC 3101
The thinnest entry here. A Restaurant Guru listing gives Monday to Friday 7AM to 4PM and weekends 8AM to 4PM, so the hours cover breakfast, but we found no menu, so we can’t say what it serves or what it costs. Broadsheet lists an outdoor area and takeaway.

On 2 October 2026 we read Ora’s and Kew Breadworks’ own websites, Kew Breadworks’ breakfast page for its prices, and Jane & Co’s DoorDash store page for its menu. Willo and Adeney have no website that we could find, so their addresses and hours come from AGFG, Restaurant Guru and Broadsheet listings, each confirmed against OpenStreetMap. Delivery-platform prices can differ from counter prices, menus change, and Ora’s menus are images we could not copy. The photos are illustrative, from Unsplash: they show the kind of dish, not these venues’ own food.
