Correction (10 October 2026): an earlier version of this page listed places and details we could not stand behind. It has been rewritten from scratch: every place below was confirmed at two independent sources on 9 October 2026, and every price was copied from the page it was published on.

One Thai restaurant had enough on the public record for us to stand behind it, so this is a one-place page rather than a list. The restaurant is in Mooroolbark, not Kilsyth itself, which is why the title says in and around.

Here is what we can say: where it is, what its own menu prints for the starters, and which features the Australian Good Food Guide lists for it. We did not record its opening hours or any main-course prices, and we would rather leave those out than guess.

Pimaan Thai Cuisine — 46 Manchester Road, Mooroolbark VIC 3138

Pimaan Thai Cuisine’s own website, OpenStreetMap and the Australian Good Food Guide all give the address as 46 Manchester Road, Mooroolbark. The menu lines we copied are starters. It lists Chicken Curry Puffs (4pcs) at $13, described as chicken mince, potato, onion and vegetables in curry powder wrapped in puff pastry and served with sweet chilli sauce. Vegetable Curry Puffs (4pcs) are $12 on the same menu.

Thai Fish Cakes (5pcs) (Imported) are $13, described as fish patties seasoned with kaffir in red curry paste and served with sweet chilli sauce. Garlic roti bread with satay sauce is $5.10. If you want something to share, the menu also prints Chicken Satay Skewers (4pcs) at $13 and Chicken Spring Rolls (6pcs) at $12.

The Australian Good Food Guide’s listing for the restaurant carries the features ‘Child Friendly’, ‘Vegan Options’, ‘BYO’ and ‘Takeaway’. Those are listing features on AGFG, not claims we have tested, and the listing does not say which dishes the vegan tag covers. The restaurant’s site carries no date on the pages we read, so confirm the menu is current before you go.

On the menu (copied from pimaanthai.com.au/menu on 9 October 2026):

  • Chicken Curry Puffs (4pcs): $13
  • Vegetable Curry Puffs (4pcs): $12
  • Thai Fish Cakes (5pcs) (Imported): $13
  • Garlic roti bread with satay sauce: $5.10

Decoder: a curry puff is a small pastry parcel with a curry-spiced filling, and on this menu it arrives with sweet chilli sauce to go with it.

How we checked

We checked every place on this page against at least two independent sources on 9 October 2026: OpenStreetMap, the places’ own websites and the Australian Good Food Guide. Every price is copied exactly as printed on the page linked under Sources, on 9 October 2026. Menus, prices and opening hours change, so check with the venue before you go. The cover photo is illustrative, from Unsplash, and does not show any place on this page.
