This page is short on entries, and we prefer to admit it. Only three places passed our checks: Biryani Nation and Kolapasi Indian Kitchen in Laverton, and the Altona Meadows Farmers’ Market at AB Shaw Reserve in Altona Meadows.
Every printed price we found at Biryani Nation sits above fifteen dollars, so we make no under-fifteen claim. Kolapasi and the market had no prices we copied. We cross-referenced every place with two sources at the least.

Here is the price board as copied. Biryani Nation’s menu prints Fried Rice at $18.95 and Plain Noodles at $18.95. The menu prints Fry Piece Pulao at $19.95, and a pulao is a spiced rice dish. AGFG lists Takeaway and Child Friendly, and its hours listing reads Tuesday to Friday 5:00 PM to 11:00 PM, Saturday and Sunday 11:30 AM to 11:00 PM, Monday closed.

Kolapasi lists its Laverton branch at 56 Woods Street. Its site shows store hours as 12-10PM, Monday to Sunday, and AGFG lists Vegan Options and Takeaway. We could not find a published price on the pages read, and the site carries no date, so check it is current.
What it is: an Indian kitchen by name, with vegan options and takeaway listed by AGFG.
Altona Meadows Farmers’ Market (AB Shaw Reserve) — AB Shaw Reserve, 2 Hall Avenue, Altona Meadows VIC 3028
The council says “there is lots of fresh local produce, baked goods and yummy hot food,” at AB Shaw Reserve, near the children’s play area. It lists Sunday, 01 November 2026 and Sunday, 06 December 2026, both 08:00 AM to 01:00 PM. We could not find stall prices, so budget on the day.
Market day: Sunday dates as the council lists them; a morning feed, finished by 01:00 PM.
