One caveat up front. The Lilydale General has no hours in our notes, so we say nothing about when it opens. Menus and times change, so ring ahead.

Gracious Grace Cafe — 35 Castella Street, Lilydale VIC 3140
AGFG lists Breakfast among Gracious Grace Cafe’s features, alongside Vegan Options, Child Friendly and Alfresco Dining. Its site lists Monday to Saturday from 8am to 4pm and Sunday from 9am to 4pm. We have no menu prices for it in our notes, so treat the hours as a guide.
Go for: a Sunday start, if its site listing of a 9am opening is still current.
Round Bird Can’t Fly — 170 Main Street, Lilydale VIC 3140
AGFG lists Breakfast for Round Bird Can’t Fly, plus Free Wifi, Takeaway, Alfresco Dining and Child Friendly. Its site lists weekdays from 7am to 4pm and weekends from 8am to 4pm. No priced menu has been published that we could find.

Bean Seen Cafe — 178 Main Street, Lilydale VIC 3140
Bean Seen Cafe’s own site lists weekdays from 6am to 3pm and Saturday from 6.30am to 3pm, with Sunday closed. That is the earliest weekday start among the places here that publish hours. Its menu prints Eggs, two eggs on sourdough toast poached, scrambled or fried, at $15, and Toast with spreads at $10.

Hendriks lists a restaurant on its site, Monday to Saturday from 11:30am until late and Sunday from 8:30am to 7.30pm. On that listing, Sunday is the morning start. Its menu prints Bacon & Egg Bun at $10.00. AGFG lists Takeaway and Child Friendly.
