Suwan — 82 Main Road, Lower Plenty VIC 3093
Thai food, and AGFG lists Takeaway for Suwan. AGFG also lists Vegan Options, Child Friendly and BYO, so it covers a few different orders. We could not find a published menu with prices, so there is no dollar figure here.
What it is: A Thai restaurant on Main Road whose own site and AGFG listing both give the same address, so phone ahead for what is on.
Solana — 410 Main Road, Lower Plenty VIC 3093
Italian, with AGFG listing Takeaway alongside Child Friendly, Vegan Options and Alfresco Dining. Its site lists Tuesday to Thursday 05:00 PM to 09:30 PM, Friday and Saturday 12:00 PM to 10:00 PM and Sunday 12:00 PM to 09:00 PM. We could not find a published menu with prices.
The move: Pick the weekend if you want a longer window, since the site’s Friday to Sunday hours start at 12:00 PM.
Global Pizza — 7 Were Street, Montmorency VIC 3094
A pizza shop on Were Street, with AGFG listing Takeaway and Child Friendly. Its site lists Monday closed, Tuesday to Thursday and Sunday 4:30pm to 9:15pm, and Friday and Saturday 4:00pm to 10:00pm. We could not find a published menu with prices.
The move: Skip Monday, because the store’s own hours say closed, and aim for Friday or Saturday if you want the longest window.
Aegean Wave Fish & Chips — 136 Bolton Street, Eltham VIC 3095
The chippy of the bunch. Its site describes a family-run kitchen making comfort food. The site lists 11:30am to 8:00pm on Monday, Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday, 11:30am to 8:30pm on Friday, and closed on Tuesday and Thursday. OpenStreetMap shows different hours, so treat the site as the live word. We could not find a published menu with prices.
The move: Check the closed days on its site before you drive over, because Tuesday and Thursday are listed as closed.
Were Street Food Store — 30 Were Street, Montmorency VIC 3094
A cafe on Were Street, and AGFG lists Takeaway and Child Friendly. Its site lists Monday to Friday 6am to 3pm and Saturday and Sunday 7am to 3pm. That makes it a daytime option rather than a night one. We could not find a published menu with prices.
What it is: A takeaway-friendly cafe, per AGFG, that closes at 3pm by its own site’s hours.
Max’s Woodfired Pizza & Burgers — 4-8 Were Street, Montmorency VIC 3094
Pizza and burgers on Were Street, and AGFG lists Takeaway, Alfresco Dining, Child Friendly and Pet Friendly. The menu at Max’s prints PIPPA’S FETA CHIPS at $12, described as herb chips loaded with Danish feta and parsley. The menu at Max’s also prints SPAGHETTI BOLOGNESE at $24.
