Correction (10 October 2026): an earlier version of this page listed places and details we could not stand behind. It has been rewritten from scratch: every place below was confirmed at two independent sources on 9 October 2026, and every price was copied from the page it was published on.

Three places turn up for coffee in and around Maidstone: One For The Crow in Maidstone, West 48 in Footscray and Krispy Kreme on Rosamond Road in Maribyrnong. That is the true count, so this is a short page rather than a padded one.

Every place was matched against two sources: OpenStreetMap and the place’s own website. We copied hours from the websites and coffee prices only where a menu printed them, which is One For The Crow alone.

Krispy Kreme is a donut shop that opens early, so we flag its coffee as unchecked. Roasters, milk options and brew methods are not in what we copied, so ask when you order.

One For The Crow — 9 Commercial Street, Maidstone VIC 3012

One For The Crow is the Maidstone address on this list, on Commercial Street. Its menu prints a Long Black at $6.00 and a Double Espresso at $4.50. Its site lists Monday as closed, Saturday from 8am and the other days from 9am. We did not copy a roaster name, so ask which beans are in the grinder.

On the menu (copied from oftcmelbourne.com.au on 9 October 2026):

  • Long Black: $6.00
  • Flat White: $6.00
  • Matcha Latte: $6.50
  • Double Espresso: $4.50

The order: A Flat White at $6.00 or a Matcha Latte at $6.50 are both printed on the One For The Crow menu.

West 48 — 48 Essex Street, Footscray VIC 3011

West 48 is a cafe on Essex Street in Footscray. Its site lists 8am to 2pm Monday to Saturday and 9am to 2pm on Sunday, while OpenStreetMap tags weekdays from 07:30. The menu we copied lists food, with Lucifers Eggs at $25 and Corn Fritters at $25. We did not copy a coffee list, so check the milk options with the cafe.

On the menu (copied from west48.com.au/West-48-Food-Menu-2026-v3.pdf on 9 October 2026):

  • Lucifers Eggs: $25
  • Chicken Katsu Sando: $23
  • Basket of fries: $10
  • Beef Brisket: $28

Roaster: We did not copy a roaster name for West 48, so ask the cafe which beans it uses.

Krispy Kreme — 120 ROSAMOND ROAD, Maribyrnong VIC 3032

Krispy Kreme is the donut shop on Rosamond Road in Maribyrnong. Its store page lists 7:00 am openings from Monday to Friday and 8:00 am on Saturday and Sunday. Closing is listed as 9:00 pm Monday to Wednesday and 10:00 pm Thursday and Friday. We copied no coffee item or price from the page, so treat coffee here as unchecked.

Go for: The early start, since Krispy Kreme’s store page lists a 7:00 am weekday opening, but confirm the coffee with the store before you plan around it.
