AGFG lists Mckinnon Hotel with Alfresco Dining, plus Child Friendly and Live Music. That is outdoor seating on paper, not a beer garden, and we found nothing on heaters or shade.
Its own site lists “Daily from 12 pm”, though we found no date on it, so treat that as a guide. Good for an arvo plan, if the hours still stand.

Bentleigh RSL is a club with a bar, sitting just over the border in Bentleigh. Its site says “families are always welcome to enjoy our on-site playground”, and that reservations are encouraged, especially on weekends.
The same site lists “Open Daily From 10am - 3am”. We found no word on outdoor seating, so this one is about the playground, not the garden.
