Four places made the cut for breakfast in and around Mckinnon. Only one of them sits in Mckinnon itself. The other three are on Patterson Road and Centre Road in Bentleigh.

Willim Mckinnon — 83 McKinnon Rd, Mckinnon VIC 3204
This is the one breakfast stop on the list that is in Mckinnon. Its own site gives the hours as “Mon-Sun: 7:00am – 3:30pm”, so it is listed as open every day of the week.
The site’s pitch runs “From your morning coffee to all-day brunch favourites.” That covers both a quick coffee and a longer brunch sitting. The photo above is illustrative and does not show the cafe’s food.
Go for: the all-day brunch side of the menu, since the site pitches breakfast and brunch together.
Little Z — 73 Patterson Road, Bentleigh VIC 3204
Little Z is in Bentleigh, not Mckinnon. Its site describes the menu as being about “heart and happiness”, running “from enticing breakfast bites and comforting lunches to decadent treats and specialty coffees.”
Breakfast comes first in that line. We could not find opening hours for Little Z in our sources, so we do not print any. The site carries no date we could see, so check it is current before you head over.

Artisanal Bakehouse is a bakery on Centre Road in Bentleigh. Its own site lists “Monday - Sunday 7AM - 2PM”.
That is a 7AM opening, though the listed closing time is earlier than Willim Mckinnon’s 3:30pm. We read no menu wording we can quote, so this entry is about timing, not dishes. The site carries no date we could see, so confirm the hours with the bakery.
Go for: the early start, for something from the bakery before 2PM.
Dana Patisserie — 347 Centre Road, Bentleigh VIC 3204
Dana Patisserie is a second Centre Road bakery in Bentleigh. Its own site lists “Monday-Friday 7 am - 4:30 pm Weekends - 7 am - 4:30 pm”.
Weekdays and weekends carry the same hours, which makes it the easiest to plan around. We could not read menu items for the patisserie. The site is undated, so confirm before you go.
Go for: a weekend morning, when the listed hours match the weekdays.
