Correction (2 October 2026): an earlier version of this page listed beer gardens that we could not stand behind, on streets and under a postcode (3226) that do not match Melton South. It has been rewritten from scratch, and the one place below was checked against its own current information.
This is a short page on purpose. A pub’s website is the most honest thing about it, and only one venue in our checked set publishes outdoor seating next to a bar: Melton Entertainment Park, the harness racing venue on Ferris Road. Its own pages don’t call that space a beer garden, so neither do we, and this page makes no beer-garden claim about any other venue. What follows is everything the venue publishes that we can line up: seating, deal nights, trivia and the sports bar menu.

Melton Entertainment Park — 2 Ferris Road (corner Western Highway)
A harness racing venue with a sports bar, a bistro and a members lounge on the one site. Its own address line reads “2 Ferris Road Melton, VIC 3338 (corner Western Highway)”. Postcode 3338 is shared by Melton South and its neighbours, and OpenStreetMap places the racecourse in Cobblebank, which borders Melton South, so we print the venue’s own address. The Gammalite Sports Bar page says “Outside seating overlooking the track available”, and that is all it says about the space.
Garden: outside seating overlooking the track, per the Sports Bar page. Whether it is covered, heated or dog-friendly is not stated.
Taps: no tap list in our sources. The bistro page mentions only “cold beverages on tap”.
Deal night: Wednesday Parma Night at the bistro, $20 parmas, with a free drink for Golden Reign Rewards members, which the page says is free to join. Monday is Burger and Pasta at $20 and Tuesday is a Steak & Rib Special at $25.
Tradie lunch: the Sports Bar page lists a “Tradie lunch special for just $20 with a pot”, Wednesday to Friday. The Sports Bar menu PDF shows $20 for a “Main Meal & Pot”, Monday to Friday, 12pm to 2.30pm. A pot is the Victorian name for a small glass of beer, so that is a main and a beer for $20. Ring to confirm which days apply.
Trivia: Quizzame Trivia on Wednesday nights, with free participation. The start time is not listed.
Sports bar menu: the menu PDF, dated December 2025 in its web address, lists a Chicken Parma at $29.00 (chicken breast, butterflied, in a seasoned panko crumb, topped with premium shaved ham, Italian Napoli sauce and melted cheese, with chips and garden salad), a Beef & Bacon Burger at $27.00 and a Bowl of Chips at $10.00. The bistro also lists a $23 lunch menu, Monday to Friday.
Hours: the Sports Bar page says “Monday- Sunday 11.30 am to late”, but the site’s footer says “Sports Bar Open Thurs – Sat 11:30am – Late”. The bistro is listed as “Open for Lunch and Dinner 7 Days a Week”. Ring before you head out.
Worth knowing: it is also a gambling venue. The Sports Bar includes a TAB, and the site carries a Responsible Gambling link.
Go on a: Wednesday, then. Parma night and trivia are both listed for that day.

How we checked
On 2 October 2026 we read Melton Entertainment Park’s own site (home, racing, Gammalite Sports Bar and Popular Alm Bistro pages) and its Sports Bar menu PDF, and confirmed the venue at OpenStreetMap, which lists it as Tabcorp Park Racecourse with the website tabcorppark.com.au, a domain that now redirects to meltonentertainmentpark.com.au. The site’s own address line says Melton with postcode 3338. That postcode covers Melton South and several neighbouring suburbs, and OpenStreetMap places the racecourse in Cobblebank, which borders Melton South, so we print the venue’s own address and do not label it Melton South. The site contradicts itself on Sports Bar hours and on the tradie lunch days, so we show both. Deal nights and menu prices can change, and the menu PDF is dated December 2025.
