This is a short list, and it is meant to be. Two venues had live entertainment on the public record that we could stand behind: Melton Entertainment Park in Cobblebank, and Mac’s Hotel on High Street in Melton. That makes this live music in and around Melton South, not a scene guide.
Neither venue’s pages that we read carry a dated gig list, so this page names no acts, no set times and no lineups. What it does give is what each venue says about its entertainment, when its doors are listed as open, and what the door costs where a venue says. We captured no capacity or stage details for either place.

Melton Entertainment Park (Gammalite Sports Bar and Popular Alm Bistro) — 2 Ferris Road (corner Western Highway), Cobblebank VIC 3338
The venue’s own site calls it “a unique sporting venue and community hub, including a premier metropolitan Harness Racing track”, and says “Come to where stars play! Melton Entertainment Park offers range of options from bands to buffets, shows and events- every month.” Its entertainment line is “Live bands for Major Events and Monthly Tribute Shows – FREE ENTRY.” The site lists the Members Lounge as “Open 9am Mon-Sat Open 10am Sun. Closes 3am Wed – Sat”, closing 1am Sunday to Tuesday, with a note that times are subject to change. OpenStreetMap lists the same site as Tabcorp Park Racecourse, and the venue’s own site writes its address as “2 Ferris Road Melton, VIC 3338”; we list it under Cobblebank, which shares the 3338 postcode with Melton South, so it sits on this page. We fetched no dated gig list, so the page cannot say which night has a band.
The site describes the Gammalite Sports Bar as “including TAB”, and the venue carries a Responsible Gambling notice, so expect a racing-and-gaming venue rather than a dedicated music room. The food side comes from a Sports Bar menu file. The menu file we read has a December date in its name, so check prices before you go. A parma is a crumbed chicken schnitzel under tomato sauce and melted cheese.

Mac’s own site says “Mac’s Hotel comes alive on the weekends with regular entertainment and a dance floor”. It lists general opening hours of “Monday - Saturday: 10:00am - 3:00am Sunday: 10:00am - 12:00am”. The site’s menu page showed no prices when we read it. The pages we read name no acts and no dates for the weekend entertainment.
Gig nights: the site lists “regular entertainment” on the weekends, with no dated lineup, so check the hotel’s own channels for what is on before you go.
