Takeaway comes down to three things: what is on the board, what it costs, and whether you collect or have it brought to you. Six places had enough on the public record for us to list them. Four are in Melton South, one is at Woodgrove Shopping Centre in Melton West and one is at Opalia Plaza in Weir Views, so this is takeaway in and around Melton South.
Only two of the six, Sideshow Burgers and Big Boss Pizza & Pasta, have prices we could read. The other four are listed with what their own pages and shopping-centre directories say, and no price is guessed for them.

Sideshow Burgers (Melton) — Shop 6, 11-17 Station Road (Melton Station Square), Melton South VIC 3338
The Melton South store’s page on the order.online storefront offers “Delivery Pickup” and the line “15 min ready for pickup”. Its hours there are “Online ordering hours: 11:00 AM - 1:40 AM”, which are ordering hours and not necessarily shop hours. The Tightrope burger is A$13.85 and the HSP is A$13.05, both as printed on that page. An HSP is a halal snack pack: a tray of chips topped with kebab meat and sauces.

Frilled Fresh — Shop 5, 11 Station Road (Melton Station Square), Melton South VIC 3338
Melton Station Square’s directory says “Orders are available for dine-in, pickup and delivery.” and introduces the shop with “Craving some hot fish and chips?”. Frilled’s own site carries the line “Healthy fish & flame-grilled burgers!”. We could not read an item price list for it, and we found no hours we could verify.
The move: check the ordering page on frilled.com.au for the current board before you go, because we could read no prices.
Ready Roasts & Salads — Shop 15, 11-17 Station Road (Melton Station Square), Melton South VIC 3338
OpenStreetMap lists hours of “Mo-Su 10:30-20:00” for this shop, which reads as 10:30 to 20:00, Monday to Sunday. Restaurant Guru gives its address as “15/11-17 Station Rd, Melton South”. We read no menu or price list for it, so what it sells beyond its name is unconfirmed.
What it is: by its name, a roast-and-salad takeaway counter; treat the menu as unknown until you see the board.
Big Boss Pizza & Pasta — 8A Station Road, Melton South VIC 3338
Big Boss’s own ordering site prices the Hawaiian pizza (sauce, cheese, ham and pineapple) by size, with the Small at $11.99 and the Large at $16.99. The same menu prints Chicken Parmigiana + Chips at $18.99 and Garlic Bread at $5.99. A parma is a crumbed chicken schnitzel under tomato sauce and melted cheese, and the printed line adds chips. The site also lists a delivery window, and a DoorDash listing for the shop exists.

Woodgrove’s store directory lists Schnitz at Shop RES05, open “Monday - Wednesday 10:30 AM - 8:30 PM Thursday - Friday 10 AM - 10 PM Saturday - Sunday 10:30 AM - 8:30 PM”. OpenStreetMap tags it as takeaway. We captured no prices for it.
What it is: for anyone reading the name cold, a schnitzel is a flattened cutlet, crumbed and fried; we read no menu for this shop, so check what it serves.
Subway (Opalia Plaza) — R11 Opalia Plaza, 201 Exford Road, Weir Views VIC 3338
Opalia Plaza’s store page lists Subway at R11, and OpenStreetMap tags it as takeaway with hours of “08:00-21:00”. We captured no prices for this store.
What it is: a sandwich shop in a national chain; ask at the counter for today’s prices.
