Four proper dessert stops in Mernda. Cheesecake, bakery cakes, donuts and a high tea. All four have a Mernda address.
One gap up front. We copied no menu prices on these places’ own pages, so this page prints none. No prices means no builds to dissect. What it does have: what each place says it sells, and the opening hours where its site or shopping centre prints them.

The Cheesecake Shop (Mernda Town Centre) — Mernda Town Centre, 180 Riverdale Boulevard, Mernda VIC 3754
The Mernda Town Centre directory lists The Cheesecake Shop in its “Dine In / Takeaway” category. It prints the hours as “Mon - Sat - 9:00am - 7:00pm Sun - 10:00am - 6:00pm Public Holidays - 10:00am - 6:00pm”. The directory does not print a shop number.
The brand’s own site says “From classic cheesecakes to celebration cakes, each creation is baked fresh in-store”. That blurb is chain-wide, not about the Mernda shop, so treat it as the brand’s pitch.

Ferguson Plarre Bakehouse — Shop 7, 59 Mernda Village Drive, Mernda VIC 3754
The Mernda Village Shopping Centre page says “Ferguson Plarre Bakehouse Mernda is renowned for quality cakes, pastries and baked goods.” It also says “We have something to offer for everyone - with our large variety of small cakes, birthday cakes, our famous pies, pasties and sausage rolls.”
The centre prints these hours: Monday to Friday 6am - 5:30pm, Saturday 7:30am - 5pm and Sunday 8am - 4pm.
Order: if it’s your first visit, start with the small cakes, the first item in the list on its centre store page. Prices were not published where we looked.
Daniel’s Donuts (Mernda Junction) — Mernda Junction Shopping Centre, Corner of Plenty & Bridge Inn Rd, Mernda VIC 3754
The Mernda Junction page promotes “Fresh Donuts, Pies and Coffee” and says “Enjoy a delicious fresh donut, meaty pie or coffee at Daniels Donuts”. The centre spells the name without the apostrophe. OpenStreetMap tags the shop as takeaway.
The donut brand’s own menu uses category names such as “Vegan Donuts” and “Gluten Free Donuts”. Those are chain-wide, so they do not confirm what this store stocks. We found no opening hours for the Mernda shop.
The build: a donut, a pie or a coffee, as the centre puts it. Check the store for stock and hours.
Turner’s Bakehouse Eatery — 107 Schotters Road, Mernda VIC 3754
Turner’s Bakehouse Eatery says on its site: “With authentic artisan sourdough and outstanding handmade cakes and pastries, Turners continues to champion real homemade and better baking.” It also invites you to “spoil yourself with a afternoon tea or high tea and a glass of wine in our beautiful historic cottage and quaint garden.” AGFG tags it “Child Friendly” and “Alfresco Dining”.
Its website says “We are open every day from 8am til 3pm”. AGFG’s header prints different weekend hours, so check before you go. On dietary needs, the site says “Vegetarian and gluten free options can be arranged, please advise any dietary requirements at the time of booking.”
Order: the high tea, if you want the full dessert spread the site describes. Ask about booking.

Are there gluten-free or vegan dessert options in Mernda?
Turner’s Bakehouse Eatery’s site says vegetarian and gluten free options can be arranged if you advise dietary requirements at the time of booking. Daniel’s Donuts’ brand menu has category names “Vegan Donuts” and “Gluten Free Donuts”, but those are chain-wide, so confirm with the Mernda store.
