Correction (5 October 2026): an earlier version of this page listed places and details we could not stand behind. It has been rewritten from scratch: every place below was confirmed at two independent sources on 5 October 2026, and every price was copied from the page it was published on.
Four places made this list, and all four have a Mernda address. Three have Plenty Road addresses and one is on Breadalbane Avenue. This page is built for the parent doing the planning at 9pm, so it sticks to what each place has published about kids’ meals, family packs and opening hours.
Each venue fact is attributed to the page it came from, with the price copied exactly as printed. We did not visit, so nothing here says anything about seating, noise or space. Where a page gave no price, or the sources disagreed, the page says so and sends you to the venue.

Souvlaki GR — Shop 6/1435 Plenty Rd, Mernda VIC 3754
Souvlaki GR’s own site lists a Kids Souvlaki Meal at $12: “Kids Souvlaki, Chips and a Fruit Juice”. The site also advertises “Generous packs with an assortment of popular dishes for sharing with friends and family.” A Mini Chicken Souvlaki is listed at $7.90, a Chicken Club at $18 and a Falafel (v), (ve) at $13.90, with the v and ve marks printed as on the menu.
The site lists Delivery, Takeaway and Dine-in. The menu pages we copied are chain-wide, not specific to the Mernda store, so confirm prices with the store.

Seven Star Pizza Pasta & Grill — Shop 4/1435 Plenty Rd, Mernda VIC 3754
AGFG tags Seven Star Pizza Pasta & Grill “Child Friendly”, and the venue’s own page says “Come down to Seven Stars for a casual dine in or a quick takeaway.” The ordering page has a Kids Menu category. We did not copy its items or prices, so we list none here.
From the rest of the ordering page: the Traditional Parma is $24.90, a schnitzel topped with mozzarella and tomato sauce. Alla Matriciana Pasta is $18.90 and Garlic Bread is $6.90. The Nutella Pizza, listed with roasted marshmallows and oreo, is $14.90. Sweet Potato Chips are $8.90.

Pack: your phone with the ordering page open, because that is where the Kids Menu category and its current items live. The ordering page prints hours of 11:00am - 3:00am every day, but AGFG prints different hours, so confirm before you head out late.
Bridge Inn Hotel — 1425 Plenty Road, Mernda VIC 3754
The Bridge Inn Hotel’s site says “With our vast indoor playground, the Bridge Inn is the perfect destination for a delightful family catch-up.” Its bar page adds “Kids are well catered for with a large section of meals available including a drink and dessert for only $10.” That page prints no days or times for the deal.
The site also says the Bistro “has an adjoining outdoor alfresco area and is within close proximity to the bar, bathrooms and small kids play.” The pub’s main menu is a scanned-image PDF that we could not read as text, so no other prices could be copied. For hours, the site gives general opening hours of “Sun - Wed: 10:00am - 1:00am Thu - Sat: 10:00am - 3:00am” and says of the Bistro & Lounge: “Please contact venue for hours as they are subject to change.”

Pram check: the pages we read give no detail on steps, gates or pram access, so ask the pub before you go.
Theo’s Fish & Chips — 2/40 Breadalbane Avenue, Mernda VIC 3754
AGFG describes “Theo’s Family Pack: four pieces of flake, four potato cakes, four dim sims, large chips and a bottle of soft drink.” Flake is the Victorian fish-and-chip shop word for shark fillet, and a potato cake is a slice of potato, battered and fried. AGFG also tags the shop Takeaway, Halal Options and Vegetarian Options.
We could not read a price for the family pack or anything else here, because the venue’s ordering site needs JavaScript and its static text prints none. AGFG, our only hours source for this shop, shows Tuesday as Closed and 12:00 PM - 8:00 PM on every other day.
