Three cafes made it onto this page, and all three have a Mount Waverley 3149 address. Each was confirmed at two sources, and the prices come straight from their menus.
Poacher & Hound, in the Spectrum Business Park, is the one place where a menu we read names the roaster, and it is weekdays only on its own site. The other two are the sweet-or-savoury decision: Son of Tucci for a long French toast, Soulful Home Cafe for a bacon and egg roll.
We read menus and listed hours. We have not reported on how anything tastes.

Son of Tucci — 5 Hamilton Walk, Mount Waverley VIC 3149
Son of Tucci’s own site says its menu suits “a healthy brunch or a quick lunch”, and that it takes coffee seriously. That second line is the cafe’s own claim, so read it as marketing, not a verdict.
The sweet pick is the French toast (V, NS) at $25. The menu lists Thai milk tea custard, fresh fruits, mango pearls, almond crumb, vanilla ice cream and pandan milk sauce. The savoury picks are simpler: eggs your way, on sourdough or multigrain and poached, fried or scrambled, at $14, and an HCT toastie or croissant (ham, cheese and tomato) at $10. Its own site lists it open Mon - Fri 7am - 4pm and Sat - Sun 8am - 4pm.
One caution: the menu page says “SEE OUR MENU ON INSTAGRAM”, so these prices may lag the Instagram version.

The order: the fruit toast at $8.50 is the cheapest thing we copied, and the French toast is the showpiece.
Poacher & Hound Cafe & Catering — 21-35 Ricketts Rd, Mount Waverley VIC 3149
This is the one place here where a menu names the coffee. Its online drinks menu lists “White Coffee by St. Ali (Orthodox house blend), Single Origin on rotation by St. Ali and guest roasters”. The same ordering site has a Breakfast section and a “Grab & Go” section, and the cafe’s own site carries a brunch menu page.
It is a business-park cafe: its own site gives the Spectrum Business Park setting and lists it open Monday to Friday only. Sources disagree on the closing time, so check before you go. Its own site also lists a table-reservation form.
The prices below are from the online ordering menu, and that page may be up to a year old, so treat them as a guide. The flat white and latte are $5.50 each and the iced latte is $7.00.

Soulful Home Cafe — G01/12 The Highway, Mount Waverley VIC 3149
Soulful Home Cafe’s own site lists a full breakfast spread. Eggs your way (scrambled, poached, fried or tofu scramble, on sourdough, seeded or gluten free bread) is $14. The Bacon Egg Roll is $15, with fried egg, crispy bacon, two cheeses, BBQ and aioli. The Avocado Crush is $25: smashed avocado, a herb and pickled chilli salad and almond chevre on grilled seed bread.
Its own site lists hours as Monday to Friday 7:30 am - 3:30 pm and Saturday and Sunday 8:00 am - 4:00 pm. The menu also notes a surcharge for weekends and fees for card transactions, so read the footer before you order.
