Five places in Mount Waverley each say something specific about children on their own sites: a child price by age band, a kids menu section, kids items on the menu, or a customer review on the site calling the place child friendly. This guide lists what each site says, then the hours and prices it prints, so you can plan dinner for the little ones without a round of phone calls.
One caution. We have not claimed high chairs, toilets or step-free access for any place, because we did not record them from a source. Ask when you book.

Okami Japanese Restaurant Mount Waverley — 29-31 Centreway (Pinewood Shopping Village), Mount Waverley VIC 3149
Okami’s site calls it a Family Style Japanese Restaurant and says it is a family and group gathering friendly venue. Its price list is by age: All you can eat - adult is $42.80/person, All you can eat - child 9-12 is $25.80/person and All you can eat - child 4-8 is $20.80/person, while children aged 0-3 are listed as free. The page lists dinner from 5:30 pm Tuesday to Thursday (kitchen closes 9:00 pm), from 5:00 pm on Friday and Saturday (kitchen closes 9:30 pm), and Sunday lunch from 12:00 pm to 2:30 pm plus Sunday dinner from 5:00 pm. The menu also prints Chicken Katsu Don at $18.80, described as crispy breadcrumbed chicken on rice.

Great Eastern Hakka Restaurant — 319 Stephensons Road, Mount Waverley VIC 3149
A customer review quoted on the restaurant’s own site calls it child friendly. The site describes its menu as a combination of Indian style Chinese food and Swedish food, and the address comes from the Mount Waverley traders directory, because the restaurant’s own site shows a map rather than a street address. The site lists Tuesday to Thursday 5-10pm, Sunday 5-9:30pm, and two seatings on Friday and Saturday evenings (5-7:30pm and 7:30-10:30pm), with the kitchen closing half an hour before closing time. It also lists a lunch special for $25 per person, Tuesday to Friday, 12pm to 3pm. The site mentions a minimum spend per person on some days and a surcharge on Sundays and public holidays, so read those terms before you book.

Farina Pizza & Pasta — 173 Waverley Road, Mount Waverley VIC 3149
Farina’s ordering site lists a Kids Menu that includes a Kids Tomato and Cheese Pizza marked as vegetarian. The ordering site prints the same “10:00 am - 10:00 am” availability window under every menu section, so treat it as a site glitch rather than a kids-menu rule, and ask the restaurant if you need to know when the kids menu is served. The site offers Pickup or Delivery as order types, and it lists a Classic Parma with Virginia ham, Napoli sauce and mozzarella, served with chips and salad. Garlic bread is $6.50 on the menu, and the homemade chocolate mousse is $10.

Black Label Grill — 13 Centreway, Mount Waverley VIC 3149
Black Label Grill’s site has a menu section headed Family and Kids, and it says you can dine in, takeaway, or order online. The kids-labelled item we recorded is chicken nuggets with chips and apple juice (6 chicken nuggets) at $9.99. The site lists lunch Wednesday to Sunday, 11.30am to 2.30pm, and dinner Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Sunday 5pm to 8.30pm, Friday and Saturday 5pm to 9pm. The Boston burger is described as a patty with tomato ketchup, melted cheddar, lettuce, tomato, onion and BLG mayo in a toasted sesame seed bun, and the Her-B-Ow is a crumbled vegetable patty marked vegetarian.

The cafe’s own site lists Monday to Friday 7:30 am to 3:30 pm and Saturday and Sunday 8:00 am to 4:00 pm, so it is a morning-to-arvo stop rather than a dinner one. The menu has kids items: Kids Eggs, described as scrambled eggs with one piece of toast, and Kids Waffles. We have not printed their prices here, so check the menu page for them. The menu also says a 10% surcharge applies at weekends, and the site has an Order Pick-up link.
