Four bakeries made this page, and every one sits inside a shopping centre. Two are at Waverley Gardens in Mulgrave. Two are at Wheelers Hill Shopping Centre, so this is bakeries in and around Mulgrave rather than only in it.
This is a bakery page, not a cafe page. We could not read a roaster or a coffee menu for any of the four, so we say nothing about the coffee. What we can pass on is what each place says about itself, plus the trading hours where a source prints them.

Degani’s own location page for Waverley Gardens prints its hours: Monday to Wednesday 9AM – 5:30PM, Thursday and Friday 9AM – 7PM, Saturday 9AM – 5PM and Sunday 9AM – 4PM. A shopping-centre listing, australia-shoppings.com, describes it as a “Degani bakery cafe”. The centre’s own site has a page titled “Degani Cafe: New Honeycomb Edition Drinks”.
We found no prices for Degani, so this page prints none. It is a chain outlet, and the hours above are the location page’s trading pattern.
Go for: the Honeycomb Edition drinks, going by the title of the centre’s own page. Check the details on the day.
Ferguson Plarre Bakehouse Waverley Gardens — Kiosk 5, Waverley Gardens Shopping Centre, 271 Police Road, Mulgrave VIC 3170
Ferguson Plarre’s Waverley Gardens page says “our bakery is packed with cupcakes, donuts, and celebration cakes that make everyday moments special”. It also mentions picking up a sponge cake, ordering a wedding cake, or “grabbing a quick tart with your coffee”.
The same page lists hours from Monday to Wednesday 7:30 AM - 5:00 PM, Thursday and Friday 7:30 AM - 6:00 PM, Saturday 7:30 AM - 5:00 PM and Sunday 8:30 AM - 4:00 PM. That makes it the earliest opener of the two Waverley Gardens bakeries. The page prints no product prices in its text.
The order: a quick tart, since that is the item its own page names to go with a coffee.
Bakers Delight Wheelers Hill — Shop 5, Wheelers Hill Shopping Centre, 190 Jells Road, Wheelers Hill VIC 3150
The Wheelers Hill Shopping Centre directory lists Bakers Delight at Shop 5 and describes it as “Baking bread for over 45 years”. That line is the chain’s claim as the centre prints it, not something we measured.
The centre’s entry gives trading hours as “Standard Shopping Centre Hours” and nothing more specific. The Bakers Delight store page loads its hours by script, so we have no times to print. This is the Wheelers Hill shop; another Bakers Delight exists at Brandon Park.
Roaster: not applicable, because the sources we read describe bread, not coffee.
Paul’s Patisserie — Shop 24, Wheelers Hill Shopping Centre, 190 Jells Road, Wheelers Hill VIC 3150
The Wheelers Hill Shopping Centre directory quotes Paul’s Patisserie on its range: “From our delicious sweet treats or heart-warming savouries, to our range of personalised cakes”. It also says to “visit us for breakfast, lunch or for an afternoon treat”. For a brekkie plan, that is the line to note.
Hours are given only as “Standard Shopping Centre Hours”. We found no website of its own with prices or a menu, so we print none.
Go for: a savoury, if the centre’s “heart-warming savouries” wording is what you are after. Ask on the day what is out.

Which bakery opens earliest?
Of the places with printed hours, Ferguson Plarre’s Waverley Gardens page lists a 7:30 AM start Monday to Saturday and 8:30 AM on Sunday. Degani’s page lists 9AM from Monday to Saturday and 9AM on Sunday. Bakers Delight and Paul’s Patisserie only list standard shopping centre hours.
Which place sells celebration cakes?
Ferguson Plarre says its bakery is packed with cupcakes, donuts and celebration cakes, and mentions wedding cakes. Paul’s Patisserie says its range includes personalised cakes. We found no prices for either.
Can I get breakfast at these bakeries?
Paul’s Patisserie says on the Wheelers Hill centre’s page to visit for breakfast, lunch or an afternoon treat. For the other three, the sources we read did not mention breakfast, so call ahead if that is the plan.
