Correction (3 October 2026): an earlier version of this page listed places and details we could not stand behind. It has been rewritten from scratch: every place below was confirmed at two independent sources between 2 October 2026 and 3 October 2026, and every price was copied from the page it was published on.
Even a sparse pizza menu is putting forward a claim of some kind. This page covers six pizzerias and Italian restaurants in and around Mulgrave, and only one of them, Wanda Pizza, has a Mulgrave address. The others are in Glen Waverley, Wheelers Hill, Springvale and on the Monash University campus in Clayton.
Pizza Boyz Mulgrave trades under a Mulgrave name, but its own site prints a Springvale address, so it sits under Springvale here. It also covers searches for Italian food in Mulgrave, since the older Italian food page now points here.
We name a style only where a menu does, quote any claim exactly as the venue makes it, and say “not stated” when BYO or takeaway policy was out of reach. Two places printed prices we could read: Il Desiderio and Pizza Boyz. The rest show “no price we copied”.

Wanda Pizza — 46 Wanda St, Mulgrave VIC 3170
Wanda Pizza’s own site says: “Wanda pizza is the place for delicious pizza and pasta! Wanda pizza is conveniently located at 46 Wanda street , Mulgrave.” That is the venue’s claim, and its contact page gives the address above.
The site’s working hours read: Monday Close, Tuesday 4:30 PM - 9 PM, Wednesday 4:30 PM - 9 PM, Thursday 11 AM - 9:30 PM, Friday 11 AM - 10 PM, Saturday 4 PM - 10 PM and Sunday 4 PM - 9 PM. The menu pages did not load for us, so we have no dishes or prices to print.
BYO / takeaway: OpenStreetMap tags it as fast food with the cuisine pizza. BYO is not stated in anything we read.
Sette Bello Restaurant — 540 Springvale Rd, Glen Waverley VIC 3150
This is a sit-down option, and it is in Glen Waverley, not Mulgrave. The page title on its site reads “Fine Dining | Sette Bello | Glen Waverley | Italian Food”. Its hours are listed as Tuesday to Sunday 12pm – 4pm and Tuesday to Sunday 5:30pm till late.
The site also lists “Takeaway & Delivery Tuesday to Sunday 12pm-2pm”, and notes: “*Set menu applies to all bookings of 10 or more”. We found no prices on the menu pages we captured, so we print none.
Verdict for: a booked group dinner, going by the set menu note, though we have seen only that note on its menu page, not the room.
Il Desiderio Pizzeria — 4/192 Brandon Park Dr, Wheelers Hill VIC 3150
Il Desiderio’s dine-in menu is the one on this page with a proper spread of prices. The Parma pizza’s description begins “S.Marzano tomato, basil, fior di latte, prosciutto di Parma” (a San Marzano tomato is a variety grown near Naples, and fior di latte is fresh cow’s milk mozzarella). The Chicken Parmigiana is listed with chips and salad, and the menu prices it at $32.00.
The site says: “Join us every Saturday and Sunday from 12:00 to 14:30 for lunch,”. OpenStreetMap lists Tu-Su 17:00-21:00. The site also has a take-away menu, which is a separate list of prices to the dine-in one copied below.
On the menu (copied from ildesiderio.com.au on 2 October 2026):
- Margherita pizza (v.): $24.00
- Napoletana pizza: $25.00
- Parma pizza (prosciutto di Parma): $30.00
- Chicken Parmigiana (chips and salad): $32.00
Menu tells: the dine-in menu also prints Salt & Pepper Calamari at $30.00 and Patatine Fritte - Chips at $12.00, so it is not only pizza.
Joe’s Pizzeria and Cafe (Monash Clayton campus) — G57, Ground floor, Campus Centre, 21 Chancellors Walk, Clayton campus, Monash University VIC 3800
Monash University’s vendor page calls it “Italian takeaway and dine-in” and lists the features “Features Gluten free Vegan Vegetarian Halal”. The pizzeria’s own site lists “Pizzas, pastas, salads and small bites like Garlic Bread, Chipotle BBQ Chicken Wings, Soup of the Day, Beer and Wine.”
Hours conflict. Monash’s page and the pizzeria’s own site give different weekday times, so check before you go. We found no prices to print, and this outlet is on the Clayton campus, not in Mulgrave.
BYO / takeaway: takeaway and dine-in, per Monash’s page. The site lists beer and wine, and BYO is not stated.
Pizza Boyz Mulgrave — 128A Police Rd, Springvale VIC 3171
The site’s store hours are Monday 4:00pm - 9:00pm, Tuesday 4:00pm - 9:00pm and Wednesday to Sunday 11:00am - 9:00pm. The site lists “Vegan Range Pizzas”, and its specials are tied to days: Monday, Tuesday and weekday lunch.
The “Monday Madness” special reads “Any large classic pizza for $8.95”, and the Tuesday Special covers any large classic or traditional pizza for $11.95. The weekday lunch special is a small pizza plus a can of drink for $11.95. The Double Combo (2 large pizzas, 1.25L drink, cheesy garlic) is listed at $35.95.
On the menu (copied from pizzaboyzmulgrave.com.au on 2 October 2026):
- Monday Madness: any large classic pizza: $8.95
- Weekday Lunch Special: small pizza + can of drink: $11.95
- Tuesday Special: any large classic or traditional pizza: $11.95
- Single Combo: 1 large pizza, 1.25L drink, cheesy garlic: $23.95
The style: takeaway pizza with day-by-day specials. Match the day to the deal before you order.
Big Mama’s Pizza — 3 Nullawil St, Springvale VIC 3171
Big Mama’s own site describes itself as “Delicious Italian pizza in Springvale. Order now for pickup or delivery!” Its menu is a script-driven page with no hours or prices we could read.
The only hours we have come from OpenStreetMap: Tu-Th,Su 16:00-22:00; Fr-Sa 11:00-23:00. That is a single source, so confirm them with the shop. Friday and Saturday are the nights that run to 23:00 on that tag.
BYO / takeaway: pickup or delivery, per its own site. BYO is not stated.

How we checked
We checked every place on this page against at least two independent sources between 2 October 2026 and 3 October 2026: OpenStreetMap, the places’ own websites and monash.edu. Every price is copied exactly as printed on the page linked under Sources, on 2 October 2026. Menus, prices and opening hours change, so check with the venue before you go.
