This is a short page. One Thai restaurant in and around Mulgrave had enough on the public record for us to stand behind it, and it is not in Mulgrave itself: Kao Gaeng is in Springvale. We would rather print one place we can check than pad the list with places we cannot.
Kao Gaeng’s address and hours below come from its own website, and OpenStreetMap agrees on the address. We could not read a menu, so there are no dishes or prices here.

OpenStreetMap tags Kao Gaeng as a restaurant with the cuisine “thai” and takeaway “yes”. Its own website gives the address as Shop 13-14, 22-38 Queens Avenue, Springvale VIC 3171, and lists its opening hours as “Monday - Sunday : 11:00 AM - 08:00 PM”.
The name also says hot pot and shabu. A hot pot is a pot of simmering broth at the table that you cook raw ingredients in; shabu is the thin-sliced version of the same idea. We could not read the menu, so we cannot say which of those formats it serves or how it is priced. The online menu is an ordering page that did not load for us on 2 October 2026.
