A burger list is a list of builds. This page covers four places in and around Nunawading: one in Nunawading and three in Mitcham. Two are burger specialists, Mad Patties and Rizin’s. Two are cafes that list a priced burger, Miss Lucy and Dark Horse.
Each entry sticks to what the venue publishes: menu wording, prices where we could read them, and hours with the source named. Two places have no prices we copied, and we say so instead of guessing.
Nothing here is a taste test. It is menus and listings, each checked against two sources.

Miss Lucy — 133 Central Road, Nunawading VIC 3131
Miss Lucy is a cafe, and its own site says it sits on the edge of the Blackburn Lake Sanctuary. Its menu PDF prints ANGUS BEEF BURGER (LG) at $24.90 and BACON & EGG ROLL (LG) at $15.90. The site lists Sun-Fri 8AM - 5PM, closed Saturdays and public holidays. AGFG lists it as pet friendly.

Mad Patties Mitcham — 479 Whitehorse Road, Mitcham VIC 3132
Mad Patties Mitcham’s own store page is headed ‘Burger Restaurant Mitcham’ and offers takeaway and delivery. Its menu names a ‘Mad Plant Plant-based vegan patty’ and a ‘Pretty Mad Pumpkin& chickpeas patty’. The site lists Sunday to Thursday 11am to 9pm and Friday and Saturday 11am to 10pm. The menu page has no prices we copied.
The build: The menu names patties but gives no full build we could read, so ask at the counter.
Rizin’s Smash Burgers — 2/535 Whitehorse Road, Mitcham VIC 3132
Rizin’s Smash Burgers says on its site, ‘we use premium quality meat, smashed fresh on the grill’, which is the venue’s claim. Its menu has tabs headed BEEF, VEG, KIDS, SIDES and SHAKE, and OpenStreetMap tags it takeaway=yes. The hours come from OpenStreetMap only, Mo-Su 11:00-21:00, because the own site prints none, so they may be out of date. The menu page lists burgers without prices.
Mess forecast: The menu page gives categories only, so the mess is unknown; napkins are cheap.
Dark Horse Mitcham — 22 Britannia Mall, Mitcham VIC 3132
Dark Horse Mitcham is a cafe, and its menu prints GRASS FED BURGER at $28.90: beef patty, double cheddar, onion jam, bacon, lettuce, tomato, house relish + mayo, brioche + beer battered chips. Its own-site hours are Mon-Thu 7:00-4:00, Fri-Sat 7:00- 4:30 and Sunday 7:00- 4:00. The same menu prints EGG & BACON ROLL at $16.50 and lists a KIDS TOASTIE with ham + cheese.

Mad Patties Mitcham’s menu lists a ‘Mad Plant Plant-based vegan patty’. Miss Lucy’s menu says ‘VE: Vegan option available on request’, which is not specific to burgers. We found no vegan tag for Dark Horse Mitcham, whose menu mentions vegan feta and vegan cheese as add-ons, and Rizin’s Smash Burgers has a VEG tab on its menu.

Mad Patties Mitcham’s site lists Sunday to Thursday 11am to 9pm. Miss Lucy’s site lists Sun-Fri 8AM - 5PM. On Sundays, the Dark Horse Mitcham website gives 7:00- 4:00 as its hours. OpenStreetMap tags Rizin’s Smash Burgers Mo-Su 11:00-21:00, though its own site prints no hours.
Is there a burger place near Nunawading with a kids menu?
Rizin’s Smash Burgers has a KIDS tab on its menu. Miss Lucy’s site lists a ‘Childrens Menu’. A KIDS TOASTIE made with ham + cheese appears on the Dark Horse Mitcham menu. AGFG tags Mad Patties Mitcham as ‘Child Friendly’.
