Correction (4 October 2026): an earlier version of this page listed places and details we could not stand behind. It has been rewritten from scratch: every place below was confirmed at two independent sources on 4 October 2026, and every price was copied from the page it was published on.

Where do you eat breakfast near Ormond? Six places are listed: one in Ormond, one in Carnegie, one in Caulfield, one in Glen Huntly and two in McKinnon. Five sit outside Ormond itself.

Everything here comes from menus and listed hours. Each place was checked against two sources, and prices are copied as printed. We do not report how anything tastes. Only one place names a roaster that we found: Willim McKinnon.

Bakery first. Its site heads the cafe page Breakfast, Brunch, Lunch, Events and lists baked goods, catering and take home meals. Hours are Tuesday to Friday 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM and weekends 8:00 AM to 3:30 PM. We found no Monday hours, so do not plan one. Menus are downloadable files and we could not read prices.

Its contact page lists 7:00am to 3:30pm daily, though its pages do not agree on the closing time, and public holiday times may vary. How we checked

We checked every place on this page against at least two independent sources on 4 October 2026: sum-cafe-and-thai-eatery.square.site, the Australian Good Food Guide, the places’ own websites, OpenStreetMap and Broadsheet. Every price is copied exactly as printed on the page linked under Sources, on 4 October 2026. Menus, prices and opening hours change, so check with the venue before you go. The photos are illustrative, from Unsplash: they show the kind of food or place, not the places on this page.
