This page covers five sit-down Italian restaurants in and around Ormond: one in Ormond, and others in Carnegie, Bentleigh, McKinnon and Glen Huntly. For each one we quote what the venue’s own site or the Australian Good Food Guide (AGFG) says, and we name the style from the menu’s own words.
Prices are copied exactly as printed, with the item beside them. Where we could not read a menu, the page says so rather than guessing, and BYO or corkage is marked not stated unless a source says otherwise.

Remezzo — 568 North Road, Ormond VIC 3204
Remezzo is the one place on this list inside Ormond. Its own site calls it a family friendly restaurant and lists Pizza Pasta Tapas, and AGFG tags takeaway. The site lists opening hours as Tuesday to Sunday, 4.30pm to 9pm. We could not find a published menu with prices, so this page prints none.
Menu tells: The three words on the site, Pizza Pasta Tapas, are the only menu signal we could find, and no prices are published.
La Bottega Trattoria — 120 Koornang Road, Carnegie VIC 3163
La Bottega is in Carnegie, not Ormond. Its site says its pizza is cooked in an authentic wood-fired oven (a brick or clay oven heated by burning wood, which cooks a pizza in minutes). The site lists lunch and dinner sittings every day, with 11:30 to 16:00 and 17:00 to 21:00 from Monday to Thursday and on Sunday, and until 21:30 on Friday and Saturday. La Bottega’s menu prints LASAGNA $31, and its kids list prints BABY MARGHERITA V VGO $12 and SPAGHETTI BOLOGNESE $14.

The classic: The menu prints MARGHERITA V $23 at La Bottega, and the Margherita (tomato, mozzarella and basil) is the classic reference point of a pizza list.
Al Forno Kitchen — 318 Centre Road, Bentleigh VIC 3204
Al Forno’s site calls itself Bentleigh’s beloved Italian restaurant. It describes the setting for a romantic dinner, a family celebration, a casual lunch with friends or a corporate event, which is the venue’s own wording and not a review. We could not read hours or menu prices on its site, so this page prints none.
Verdict for: Someone planning an occasion who is happy to check hours and the menu with the restaurant first, since neither was published where we looked.
Tutto Bene Woodfired Pizzeria & Wine Bar — 135 McKinnon Road, McKinnon VIC 3204
Tutto Bene’s site lists hours of 5pm to 9pm from Sunday to Wednesday and 5pm to 9:30pm from Thursday to Saturday. AGFG tags it Romantic, Child Friendly, Pet Friendly and Free Wifi, and the site lists a Bambino / Kids section and a Garlic Foccacia (V, VG). Tutto Bene’s menu prints Spaghetti alla Bolognese $28.00 and Homemade Gnocchi $28.00 (gnocchi are small potato dumplings). Its home page also claims a world pizza title in the Pala category, which we have quoted but not checked.

Anabella Pizza Pasta Restaurant — 1141 Glenhuntly Road, Glen Huntly VIC 3163
Anabella’s site carries the slogan Glen Huntly’s Own Since 1968, which is the venue’s own line. It lists store hours of 11:00am to 9:30pm every day except Tuesday, when it lists the restaurant as closed. Anabella’s menu prints HERB, PESTO AND CHEESE Small $14, and AGFG tags Vegan Options.
