A pub’s own site is the honest bit: the garden, the deal, the trivia slot, the dog rule. This page lines those details up for seven pubs in and around Richmond, six in Richmond and one in Cremorne, so you can pick a day and not just a place.
Each pub was checked against two independent sources when we rebuilt this page: OpenStreetMap, the pub’s own site and the Australian Good Food Guide. Where a deal has no listed day we say so, because specials rotate.
We do not describe any beer. We only report what the pubs publish, and we say whose listing it is.

Richmond Social — 157 Swan Street, Richmond VIC 3121
Richmond Social’s own site headlines the venue as a Hotel and Beer Garden, and announces a new Sapphire Rooftop and Moonlight lounge. Its trading hours line reads 10:00AM to 04:00AM, 7 days. Richmond Social’s bistro menu prints the Chicken Schnitzel at $28 and the Richmond Smash Burger at $29, and its dessert menu prints Sticky Date Pudding at $14. The site also lists a kids menu.

Garden: The site names the beer garden up front, but we found no heating or dog rules published for Richmond Social, so ring ahead if either matters.
Kingston Hotel — 55 Highett Street, Richmond VIC 3121
Kingston Hotel’s site headline reads Pub, Restaurant and Beer Garden Richmond, and AGFG tags it as Pet Friendly, Child Friendly and alfresco. The site opens Tuesday to Sunday, 12pm till late. Kingston Hotel’s What’s On page lists happy-hour prices of pots at $5, pints at $11 and spritzes at $12, and bar meals at $27 all night on a set special night. Specials rotate, so check the page for the day. A weekly Trivia Night is listed there too.

Go on a: Sunday, since Kingston Hotel’s site lists kids eating free with an adult main meal that day, plus laid-back live music.
The Prince Alfred — 619 Church Street, Richmond VIC 3121
The Prince Alfred’s site bills its garden as a Richmond beer garden and says furry friends are welcome in the outdoor areas on a lead at all times. The site’s trading hours read Sunday to Thursday from 12pm to 10pm, Friday from 11:30am to 1am and Saturday from 12pm to 1am. OpenStreetMap carries different hours, so check before you go. Trivia Night, Parma Day and Steak Night are all named on the site, but we did not capture days or prices, so treat them as leads to confirm.
Garden: Bring the dog on a lead, per The Prince Alfred’s own site, and keep the website open for the event days.
Richmond Club Hotel — 100 Swan Street, Richmond VIC 3121
Richmond Club Hotel’s site describes a public bar, beer garden, dining room, dance floor and rooftop with views of Melbourne’s skyline. Its trading hours read Monday to Thursday from 12:00pm till late and Friday to Sunday from 11:00am till late. Richmond Club Hotel’s site lists a happy hour every Monday to Friday from 4pm to 7pm, and a separate deal of cocktails at $16 on set days, so check its What’s On page for the day. AGFG adds Live Music and Rooftop Bar tags, and the site lists Trivia Night and live sport.

Deal night: The site lists happy hour Monday to Friday from 4pm to 7pm, so an after-work session is the listed window.
Mountain Culture Brewery: Melbourne — 148-150 Murphy Street, Richmond VIC 3121
Mountain Culture Brewery: Melbourne’s site says that on a sunny day the roof opens and a large section of the indoor seating becomes a beer garden. So this is a roof-open garden, not a fixed courtyard. Its brewpub hours read Monday and Tuesday from 4pm till late and Wednesday to Sunday from 12pm till late. The site lists pints of selected core range beers at $10 as a happy-hour deal, with happy hour extended every Friday from midday, and tasting paddles at $18 as part of a wings special, so check the day. Its FAQ says dogs are not allowed at the Melbourne venue.

Corner Hotel — 57-61 Swan Street, Richmond VIC 3121
Corner Hotel’s site describes an undercover rooftop space overlooking the beer garden. It says the rooftop bar is generally open Tuesday to Sunday from 12pm until late, with special hours on public holidays and event days. AGFG’s listing for Corner Hotel shows Tuesday to Thursday from 12:00 PM to 1:00 AM, Friday and Saturday until 3:00 AM and Sunday until 1:00 AM, with Monday closed. Corner Hotel’s site lists a front bar happy hour Tuesday to Friday from 4-7PM, and its events page prints a ROAST SPECIAL at $26 and STEAK SPECIALS at $24, each on its own set night, so check the page for the day.

Go on a: Tuesday to Friday for the front bar happy hour from 4-7PM, per Corner Hotel’s own site, with the undercover rooftop as your plan B for rain.
Precinct Hotel — 60-62 Swan Street, Cremorne VIC 3121
Precinct Hotel’s site calls its courtyard award-winning, and AGFG tags the pub with alfresco dining, Child Friendly and Live Music. The site’s hours read Wednesday to Sunday from 12pm till late, with closing at approximately 10pm on weeknights and Sundays, 1am on Fridays and 3am on Saturdays. Precinct Hotel’s listings put acoustic performers in the courtyard on Fridays, only on nights with local AFL games, and DJs from 10pm to close on Saturdays, inside or in the courtyard. Its own site gives a Cremorne address, while AGFG files it under Richmond.
Go on a: Saturday for the listed DJs from 10pm; the Friday acoustic sets in the courtyard run only on nights with local AFL games, so check the fixture first.
