Six cafes, all in Richmond, for anyone planning breakfast out. Sweet or savoury, pick a lane before you pick a street.
Each cafe was checked against two independent sources. Hours come from the cafe’s own site where it has one, otherwise from AGFG or OpenStreetMap, and the source is named every time.
Only Riché had a menu we could copy with prices, so it is the one place with dollar amounts. We could not find a roaster named in the sources we checked for any of the six.

Riché — 3/189 Bridge Road, Richmond VIC 3121
Riché’s own site lists Monday to Saturday 7am to 3:30pm, and Sunday 8am to 3:30pm. The menu splits neatly. For sweet, it prints French Toast (V) at $21.00, with brioche, butterscotch, yuzu cream, berry compote and hazelnut candy. For savoury, start with the eggs on toast in the table above.
The site also invites you to bring your pooch to its outdoor dining area.

Fifty Acres — 65 Bridge Road, Richmond VIC 3121
Fifty Acres is on Bridge Road. Its own site lists Monday to Friday 7 to 3 and Saturday and Sunday 8 to 3. The site names a breakfast burrito with scrambled egg, parmesan, tomato relish, corn, avocado, tomato, coriander and black bean salsa with chipotle. AGFG also tags it with vegan and vegetarian options.
Roaster: We could not find one named in our sources, so ask at the counter.
Top Paddock — 658 Church Street, Richmond VIC 3121
Top Paddock’s own site lists Monday to Friday 7am to 4pm and Saturday and Sunday 8am to 4pm. AGFG tags it with Alfresco Dining, Breakfast, Child Friendly and Pet Friendly. It also lists gluten free and vegetarian options and takeaway.
Go for: A weekend start on the site’s listed hours; we could not find a menu to quote, so check it before you pick a dish.
Little Bridge Cafe — 34 Bridge Road, Richmond VIC 3121
OpenStreetMap lists Little Bridge Cafe open Monday to Friday, 07:00 to 15:00, so this is a weekday stop. AGFG tags it with Breakfast, Alfresco Dining and Takeaway. It lists vegan and vegetarian options too.
Go for: A weekday breakfast, going by the Breakfast tag on AGFG and the weekday-only hours on OpenStreetMap.
Lumberjack — 484 Bridge Road, Richmond VIC 3121
AGFG lists Lumberjack open 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM Monday to Friday, and 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM on Saturday and Sunday. The same listing tags it with Breakfast, Alfresco Dining, Child Friendly and Takeaway. We could not find a menu for it.

Stillman Cafe — 237 Burnley Street, Richmond VIC 3121
AGFG lists Stillman Cafe closed on Monday. Tuesday to Friday it lists 7:00 AM to 2:00 PM, and Saturday and Sunday 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM. OpenStreetMap carries matching hours. AGFG tags it with Breakfast, Alfresco Dining, Child Friendly and Takeaway.
Go for: A Tuesday to Sunday breakfast, with the earlier close than most on this page.
