Correction (4 October 2026): an earlier version of this page listed places and details we could not stand behind. It has been rewritten from scratch: every place below was confirmed at two independent sources on 4 October 2026, and every price was copied from the page it was published on.

This is a short page because only two Thai restaurants in Richmond passed our checks: Ladyboy and Krua Thai. Both are on Bridge Road, and we would rather give you two places we can stand behind than pad the list.

Each was checked against OpenStreetMap, the Australian Good Food Guide and its own website. Ladyboy’s menu page prints prices, so you will find them below. We could not read menu prices for Krua Thai, so we print none for it.

A quick decoder first: a Thai menu often sorts dishes by format, such as noodles, curries and fried starters, so reading the short description under each name tells you more than the name does.

Ladyboy — 394 Bridge Road, Richmond VIC 3121

Ladyboy’s own site describes it as a Modern Thai restaurant on Bridge Road. Pad See Ew is a stir-fry of wide rice noodles, and Ladyboy’s menu lists it with slow cooked pork belly, Chinese broccoli and free range egg at $25. Gai Tod is Thai fried chicken, and Ladyboy’s menu prints it with tamarind chilli sauce and kimchi at $20. The site lists opening Tuesday to Sunday from 4:30pm till close.

On the menu (copied from ladyboydining.com.au on 4 October 2026):

  • Pad See Ew: $25
  • Yellow Curry: $28
  • Salt & Pepper Squid: $19
  • Gai Tod: $20

Decoder: yellow curry is a coconut-based curry, and the menu prints Ladyboy’s version with chicken and potatoes, shaved coconut and coriander at $28.

Krua Thai: Richmond — 37 Bridge Rd, Richmond VIC 3121

Krua Thai’s site lists its Richmond restaurant at 37 Bridge Rd. AGFG lists hours of 5:00 PM to 9:30 PM for every day of the week; the restaurant’s own site gave us no hours we could read, so confirm before you go. AGFG tags it with Vegan Options, Vegetarian Options, Takeaway and Delivery. We could not read menu prices on its pages, so we print none.

How to order: AGFG lists Takeaway and Delivery for this restaurant, so check Krua Thai’s own site for how to place an order, because we could not read a menu there.

Quick answers

How many Thai restaurants are on this Richmond page?

Two. Ladyboy and Krua Thai were the only Thai restaurants in Richmond that we could confirm at two independent sources, and both are on Bridge Road. We did not add more to make the page longer.

When is Ladyboy open?

Ladyboy’s own site lists Tuesday to Sunday from 4:30pm till close. Hours can change, so check with the restaurant before you go.

Are there vegetarian or vegan Thai options in Richmond?

AGFG lists Krua Thai with Vegan Options and Vegetarian Options. It lists Ladyboy with Vegetarian Options, Gluten Free Options and Halal Options. These are directory tags rather than menu claims, so ask the restaurant about a specific dish.

What does Ladyboy charge for its dishes?

Ladyboy’s menu page, copied on 4 October 2026, prints Pad See Ew at $25, Yellow Curry at $28, Salt & Pepper Squid at $19 and Gai Tod at $20. Prices can change, so confirm on the day. We could not read menu prices for Krua Thai.

How we checked

We checked every place on this page against at least two independent sources on 4 October 2026: OpenStreetMap, the Australian Good Food Guide and the places’ own websites. Every price is copied exactly as printed on the page linked under Sources, on 4 October 2026. Menus, prices and opening hours change, so check with the venue before you go. The cover photo is illustrative, from Unsplash, and does not show any place on this page.
