This page answers one question: where in Rowville can a couple sit down for dinner at a licensed room? Five places made the cut, all in Rowville, from a heritage homestead to a Cantonese banquet restaurant.
Each one was checked against at least two independent sources, and every fact below says whose it is: the venue’s own site, the council, or the Australian Good Food Guide (AGFG). Where only AGFG tags exist, we say so and hedge. Plan B is built in, because menus and hours move, so ring ahead.

The Stonez Restaurant — 1091 Stud Road, Rowville VIC 3178
AGFG tags The Stonez Restaurant as Romantic, Fully Licensed and Alfresco Dining, and lists it as best known for Stonegrill steak served with chips and salad or mash and vege. Those are AGFG’s feature labels rather than the venue’s own words, and we could not find a website for the restaurant, so treat them as a starting point. AGFG lists Friday and Saturday hours running to 10:00 PM, which suits a later table. We could not find a published menu or prices.
Stage: A fallback for a second or third date if you want steak and a licence, once you have rung to confirm hours and the menu.
Stamford Park Homestead — 8 Emmeline Row, Rowville VIC 3178
Knox council describes Stamford Park Homestead as a magnificent example of 19th-century architecture with Gothic gables and five-metre high ceilings, and its own site says it was built in 1882. The site’s FAQ page lists dinner seven days, running to 10pm on Friday and Saturday (last orders 8:30pm) and to 9pm on other nights, closed on public holidays, and a signature tiered High Tea. The home page prints different times to the FAQ page, so check with the venue before you book. The site says there is free parking directly across the road.

Saffron on Kelletts — 8/150 Kelletts Road, Rowville VIC 3178
Saffron on Kelletts says it serves authentic North Indian cuisine, for Dine In and Take Away, Tuesday to Sunday from 4:30pm to 9:30pm. Its site says Fully Licensed, BYO Wine only with corkage, so bring a bottle if you like, or skip alcohol entirely. The ordering page listed Rogan Josh at $24.00 and Garlic Naan at $5.50 when we read it on 5 October, with the store showing closed, so confirm before you order. The site also says the menu is an excellent choice for those practising a vegan diet or with celiac disorders.

Peking Land’s site says it has been established since 1992 and lists a Vegetarian Corner, while AGFG tags it Fully Licensed, BYO and Vegan Options. The site prints a corkage fee of $4.80 per person, and a minimum cost per person of $28.00, applicable seven days. Its menu lists Famous Peking Duck (Half) at $38.80, and a Yum-Cha Style Banquet A at $34.80 per person for two or more, lunch only. AGFG lists dinner from 5:00 PM, running to 11:00 PM on Saturday.

Tosaria’s site calls its offering Diverse Modern Asian Dining, and its July menu PDF lists Nasi Goreng at $20.00 and Pad Thai Chicken at $16.00. The site lists dinner from 6:00 pm until Late, Tuesday to Saturday, with no printed closing time. The menu PDF prints a 10% weekend surcharge, so weekend bills will run higher than the listed prices. Its site also lists Thursday Night: Parma Night, with Chicken Parmigiana at $30.50 on the menu.
