Correction (10 October 2026): an earlier version of this page listed places and details we could not stand behind. It has been rewritten from scratch: every place below was confirmed at two independent sources on 9 October 2026.
Breakfast near South Kingsville means a short hop to the neighbours. Four places made the cut, spread across Newport, Spotswood and Yarraville.
Two earn their spot through AGFG breakfast tags: Pango Coffee and Odette House. The other two, Candied Bakery and Coracle, are here for the early hours their own sites list.
We checked each against at least two sources on 9 October 2026. Hours are as the venues list them, so confirm before you leave.

How we checked
We checked every place on this page against at least two independent sources on 9 October 2026: OpenStreetMap, the places’ own websites and the Australian Good Food Guide. We copied no menu prices from these places’ own pages, so this page prints none. Menus, prices and opening hours change, so check with the venue before you go. The photos are illustrative, from Unsplash: they show the kind of food or place, not the places on this page.
