Dessert near South Morang is mostly a drive. None of the places below has a South Morang address. Three sit at Westfield Plenty Valley, 415 McDonalds Road, Mill Park. Three are in Mernda. So this is a page about desserts in and around South Morang.
Every entry is built from what the places publish: their own sites, Westfield and Mernda Town Centre store pages, and a council listing. Prices appear only where a menu printed them. Where it didn’t, you get no number.

San Churro Plenty Valley — Tenancy R07, 415 McDonalds Rd, Mill Park VIC 3082
Churros are fried dough sticks, usually rolled in sugar and served with something to dip them in. Westfield describes San Churro as “Australia’s most lived [sic] sweet treat cafe.” The menu on sanchurro.com sells them in four sizes, small to large plus a kids serve.
The Small Churros listing reads “3 churros + 1 Classic dip-cup” and carries a Vegan tag. Westfield’s store page lists the branch at 10:00am – 11:00pm on Thursday 8 October, and those hours roll forward daily. The prices below come from the chain’s online menu. The site doesn’t say they are specific to Plenty Valley.

The build: Pick a size, and the dip-cup comes with the small. Larger sizes cost more, up to $21.95 for Large Churros.
Cielo Gelateria — 415 McDonalds Road (Westfield Plenty Valley), Mill Park VIC 3082
Gelato is Italian-style ice cream, and Cielo’s own site calls it “AUTHENTIC ARTISAN GELATO MADE FRESH DAILY WITH THE FINEST INGREDIENTS”. That is the shop’s claim, not ours. The site lists hours of Sunday to Thursday 9 AM - 10 PM and Friday to Saturday 9 AM - 11 PM.
The shop is at Westfield Plenty Valley, so it fits next to the other two stops there. The site text we read on 3 October 2026 printed no prices, so we can’t put a number on a serve.
The build: Gelato, made fresh daily by the shop’s own description. Check the price at the counter, because we have none to give you.
The Pancake Parlour Plenty Valley — Westfield Plenty Valley Shop R2, 415 McDonalds Rd, Mill Park VIC 3082
Pancakes count as dessert here because the menu serves them with ice-cream. The Short Stack is described as “Two buttermilk pancakes served with your choice of cream, yoghurt, vanilla or chocolate ice-cream”. AGFG tags the Plenty Valley branch “Child Friendly”.
Westfield’s store page lists the Friday 9 October hours as 9:00am – 1:00am (Sat), the latest listing on this page. Those hours roll forward daily. The prices below come from the chain’s menu, which doesn’t say they are specific to this branch.

Sydney’s Dessert Bar and Grill — 33 Riverdale Boulevard, Mernda VIC 3754
This one is in Mernda, at 33 Riverdale Boulevard. The City of Whittlesea’s Explore Whittlesea listing describes it as “a relaxed space to enjoy sweet treats and casual dining”. It also calls it “a popular spot for families, friends, and anyone looking to unwind over dessert”.
That listing is nearly all we have on it, and we could not re-open it on the final check, so this is the thinnest entry on the page: OpenStreetMap maps the same address as “Sydney’s cafe and convenience”. We found no menu with prices and no opening hours on the sources we read, so we print neither.
The build: Unknown. The council listing names sweet treats and casual dining, and no menu was in what we read.
The Cheesecake Shop Mernda — 180 Riverdale Boulevard, Mernda VIC 3754
The Cheesecake Shop sits in Mernda Town Centre, 180 Riverdale Boulevard. Its own site says: “Every day in our bakeries across Australia and New Zealand, our skilled bakers handcraft each cake”. That’s a chain-wide line, not a Mernda-specific one.
Mernda Town Centre lists the hours as Mon - Sat 9:00am - 7:00pm, and Sun 10:00am - 6:00pm. Public holidays are 10:00am - 6:00pm. We have no menu prices for this shop.
Order: Cheesecake, by the shop’s name. We have no price for it, so check in store.
Sharetea Mernda — 180 Riverdale Boulevard, Mernda VIC 3754
Bubble tea is a sweet tea drink, often with tapioca pearls (chewy balls) added. Sharetea’s own site says “We offer smoothies, crushes, yoghurts, and more!” It shares the 180 Riverdale Boulevard address with the Cheesecake Shop.
Mernda Town Centre lists the hours as Mon - Wed 9:00am - 6:00pm, Thurs - Fri 9:00am - 8:30pm and Sat - Sun 9:00am - 6:00pm. We have no menu prices for this shop.
The build: A drinks stop. The site lists smoothies, crushes and yoghurts, and we have no menu to quote.
