Correction (3 October 2026): an earlier version of this page listed places and details we could not stand behind. It has been rewritten from scratch: every place below was confirmed at two independent sources on 3 October 2026, and every price was copied from the page it was published on.
Four places made this page, and only one of them is inside South Morang: Farm Vigano, at 10 Bushmans Way. The other three are pizza and pasta shops with Mernda addresses, so this is an “in and around” list, not a suburb-only one.
Only Farm Vigano had a menu with prices we could read. For the other three we found a listing, an address and, in two cases, hours, but no price list, and we have not guessed at one. Each entry below says whose words it is quoting.

Farm Vigano — 10 Bushmans Way, South Morang VIC 3752
Three sources give the same address: the venue’s own site, the City of Whittlesea visitor pages and AGFG. The council lists it as offering dine-in, outdoor dining and function spaces. The venue’s site quotes a 3AW review that called it a “perfect European romantic backdrop”.
The printed menu is the useful part. Starters include calamari fritti with black garlic mayo and lemon, and the pasta list includes paccheri with pork sausage ragu and parmesan. Paccheri are wide, short tubes of pasta, and a ragu is a slow-cooked meat sauce, so the tubes catch the sauce inside as well as outside. The menu also prints a kids’ farfalle with napoli sauce.
The site lists opening hours as closed Monday and Tuesday, 12pm to 4pm on Wednesday, 12pm to 11pm on Thursday and Friday, and 11am to 11pm on Saturday and Sunday. The menu PDF says no takeaway is permitted with the sharing menu, and it also notes a credit card fee and a public-holiday surcharge.

The style: a sit-down menu of shared starters and pasta mains, not a pizza counter.
Victoria’s Pizza N Beyond — 180 Riverdale Boulevard, Mernda VIC 3754
This one is in Mernda, not South Morang. OpenStreetMap tags it as a restaurant with pizza as its cuisine, and the Mernda Town Centre store directory lists it at 180 Riverdale Boulevard.
That directory prints the hours as “Everyday - 12pm - 10pm”. We could not read a menu or any prices for it, so we cannot say which pizza styles it makes or what a pizza costs.
Menu tells: nothing yet, because we could not read one; the centre’s listing gives the address and hours only.
Jessie’s Pizza and Pasta — Shop 4, 59 Mernda Village Drive, Mernda VIC 3754
Also in Mernda, inside the Mernda Village shopping centre. The centre’s page for the shop lists it as Shop 4, and describes a “taste of freshly made pizza and pasta”.
The same page says its range runs “from vegan to non vegan varieties allowing everyone to enjoy”. It does not say which items are vegan, so ask the shop before you rely on that. We did not record hours or prices for it.
The classic: a pizza and pasta shop is the format, and a margherita (tomato, mozzarella and basil) is the usual benchmark, though we could not confirm it is on this menu.
Seven Star Pizza Pasta Grill — Shop 4/1435 Plenty Rd (Mernda Junction), Mernda VIC 3754
The third Mernda entry. AGFG lists the address and says it is best known for a peri peri chicken pizza and a BBQ chicken pizza. Its features list includes takeaway, delivery, alfresco dining, child friendly and onsite parking.
AGFG prints the hours as 11:00 AM to 4:00 AM, Monday to Sunday. That is the only source for those hours and it is a directory listing, so check by phone before you plan a very late run. We read no menu prices.

Which Italian place is actually in South Morang?
Farm Vigano, at 10 Bushmans Way, South Morang, is the only one of the four whose address is in the suburb. Victoria’s Pizza N Beyond, Jessie’s Pizza and Pasta and Seven Star Pizza Pasta Grill all have Mernda addresses.
Which of these can I order from late at night?
AGFG lists Seven Star Pizza Pasta Grill as open from 11:00 AM to 4:00 AM every day, but that is one directory listing. Farm Vigano’s site lists 11pm closing on Thursday to Sunday, and the Mernda Town Centre directory lists Victoria’s Pizza N Beyond as open every day from 12pm to 10pm.
Is there a place for takeaway pizza?
AGFG lists takeaway and delivery for Seven Star Pizza Pasta Grill. Farm Vigano’s menu PDF says no takeaway is permitted with its sharing menu. For Victoria’s Pizza N Beyond and Jessie’s Pizza and Pasta, the pages we read did not state a takeaway policy.
Are there vegan options?
Jessie’s Pizza and Pasta says on its centre page that its range runs from vegan to non vegan varieties. It does not name the vegan items, so we cannot tell you what they are; ring ahead and ask.
