Correction (10 October 2026): an earlier version of this page listed places and details we could not stand behind. It has been rewritten from scratch: every place below was confirmed at two independent sources on 9 October 2026, and every price was copied from the page it was published on.

This page answers one question: where can you find pizza in and around Southbank? It lists six places, one in Southbank, four in South Melbourne and one in South Wharf, so the list reaches a little past the Southbank border.

Each place was confirmed at two independent sources: OpenStreetMap, the venue’s own website and the Australian Good Food Guide (AGFG). Where a menu price is printed below, it was copied from the venue’s own menu page.

Pizza comes in recognisable styles (Neapolitan, Roman, New York), but a menu rarely names them. We name a style only when the venue’s own words do, and we leave out any oven or dough claim we could not find in print.

Roza’s Kitchen Pizza & Burger Bar — 147 City Road, Southbank VIC 3006

The name promises pizza and burgers, but the dine-in menu items we copied are pasta and risotto, so read the menu before you assume your order. The menu lists Spaghetti Seafood Pasta / Risotto at $31.50 and Spaghetti Bolognese at $28.50. Its site says to ask for gluten free and vegan options, which is the venue’s own wording about dietary requests.

On the menu (copied from rozaskitchen.com.au/dine-in-menu-1.15.2025.pdf on 9 October 2026):

  • SPAGHETTI SEAFOOD PASTA / RISOTTO: $31.50
  • VEGETARIAN PENNE / RISOTTO: $28.50
  • PENNE PESTO PASTA: $28.50
  • SPAGHETTI BOLOGNESE: $28.50

Menu tells: the dine-in menu we copied leads with pasta and risotto, so ask which pizzas are on offer before you commit.

Mister Margherita — 52 Park Street, South Melbourne VIC 3205

Mister Margherita is at 52 Park Street, and its own site, AGFG and OpenStreetMap all agree on the address. AGFG lists Alfresco Dining among its features. We could not read a published price, so there is no figure to quote here, and the site carries no date we could check, so confirm the menu before you go.

The classic: a margherita is the plain pizza of tomato, mozzarella and basil, so it is a fair test of any menu; check which pizzas this one prints.

Farro Pizzeria & Bar — 343 Clarendon Street, South Melbourne VIC 3205

Farro’s South Melbourne branch page lists Monday to Thursday from 4:30pm to 9pm, Friday 12pm to 3pm and again from 4:30pm until late, and Saturday and Sunday from 12pm until late. Its menu prints Bufala Margherita [V] at $28 and Meatball Pizza at $29 (bufala is Italian for buffalo, as in buffalo mozzarella). AGFG lists Vegan Options and Alfresco Dining for the address at 343 Clarendon Street.

On the menu (copied from farro.com.au/menu on 9 October 2026):

  • Bufala Margherita [V]: $28
  • Meatball Pizza: $29
  • MARGHERITA (V,VGO): $25
  • GARLIC OR HERB FOCACCIA (VG): $14

The classic: the menu prints MARGHERITA (V,VGO) at $25, the plain tomato-and-mozzarella benchmark, with GARLIC OR HERB FOCACCIA (VG) at $14 beside it.

Pizzateca Lupa — 116 Cecil Street, South Melbourne VIC 3205

Pizzateca Lupa’s own site gives the address as 116 Cecil Street, South Melbourne, and AGFG agrees. AGFG lists Vegan Options and Alfresco Dining among its features. We could not read a menu price or hours we could stand behind, so none are printed here, and the site carries no date we could check.

Verdict for: anyone who wants a vegan option flagged before they arrive; AGFG’s tag is a listing feature, so ask the kitchen what it covers.

Plus 5 — 37 South Wharf Promenade, South Wharf VIC 3006

Plus 5 is a bar, and the AGFG listing shows it open Wednesday to Sunday from 11:45 AM to 9:00 PM and closed Monday and Tuesday; that directory is owner-maintained and may be out of date. Its menu prints Margherita at $22, Stone Baked Flatbread at $10 and Feta & Za’atar Flatbread at $15. AGFG lists Vegan Options and Alfresco Dining.

On the menu (copied from plus5bar.com.au/menus on 9 October 2026):

  • Margherita: $22
  • Stone Baked Flatbread: $10
  • Feta & Za’atar Flatbread: $15
  • Carbonara Croquettes: $18

Menu tells: the printed list runs from flatbreads to Carbonara Croquettes at $18, so read it as a bar menu where pizza shares the page.

Wise Guys Pizza ’n’ Pasta — 102-104 Park Street, South Melbourne VIC 3205

Wise Guys Pizza ’n’ Pasta lists its own hours as 11am to 10:30pm Monday to Thursday and on Sunday, and 11am to midnight on Friday and Saturday. The address on its site is 102-104 Park Street, which OpenStreetMap shares. We could not read a menu price, so no figure is quoted, and the site carries no date we could check.

BYO / takeaway: not stated in what we read, so ask before you assume either.

Quick answers

Where can I find pizza near Southbank?

Six places are covered here: Roza’s Kitchen Pizza & Burger Bar in Southbank, Plus 5 in South Wharf, and Mister Margherita, Farro Pizzeria & Bar, Pizzateca Lupa and Wise Guys Pizza ’n’ Pasta in South Melbourne.

Which of these pizza places list vegan options?

AGFG lists Vegan Options for Farro Pizzeria & Bar, Pizzateca Lupa and Plus 5. Roza’s Kitchen Pizza & Burger Bar says on its own site to ask for gluten free and vegan options. AGFG tags are the listing’s, not ours, so ask the kitchen what is actually available.

Which of these pizza places publish Sunday hours?

Farro’s site lists Saturday and Sunday from 12pm until late. The AGFG listing for Plus 5 shows Sunday from 11:45 AM to 9:00 PM. Wise Guys Pizza ’n’ Pasta lists Sunday 11am to 10:30pm on its own site. We did not print hours for the other three places.

How much does pizza cost around Southbank?

Farro’s menu prints MARGHERITA (V,VGO) at $25 and Meatball Pizza at $29. Plus 5’s menu prints Margherita at $22. Roza’s Kitchen lists Spaghetti Bolognese at $28.50, which is a pasta rather than a pizza. We could not read pizza prices for the other places, so we have not quoted any.

How we checked

We checked every place on this page against at least two independent sources on 9 October 2026: OpenStreetMap, the places’ own websites and the Australian Good Food Guide. Every price is copied exactly as printed on the page linked under Sources, on 9 October 2026. Menus, prices and opening hours change, so check with the venue before you go. The cover photo is illustrative, from Unsplash, and does not show any place on this page.
